Hmmm this game was called one of of Square's masterpiece and ad some of the best reviews....Did it deserve all the hype....To me it didnt....To some it did but no matter what u think abou this game u will still agree that it was still fun at times and very frustrating at times..
Story= 8/10
The story is ok i guess but it was hard to pay attention to and was very complex.....I really didnt take a shine to it but some likes it..

Yes i said 8/10...Some really likes the gameplay but i found it boring and frustrating...U will spend so much time in the equipment menu it will really frustrate u..And if there was a bi boss u will have no time to prepare to it and f u dont know wat element he is or wat type he is u will most likely die..The magic of the game were pretty useless except for heal...Making weapons and combining them also pissed me off cus if u make one u could destroy the best weapon u have...And u have so much types of weapon u dont know wat to use..U have to bassicly stay with one weapon type so u can master it but that will most likely not going to happen cause ur gonna need to change equipment a lot of times..Now lets go to the good part...The combinations is fun and if ur good at timing then ur opponent wont even be able to attack and u could just bash him to death without taking no damage watsoever...But sometimes its hard to time it right wen u cant see it..The tilt in this game is a major problem..Wen u move the camera doesnt move with u and u have to control it manually and wen u dont ull die before u even see ur opponent..
Graphics=9/10
Ha 9/10 is right....A lot of people think this game has the best Graphics in the PS but i found it dull.....The CG in the begging is actually the best in PS i have to say that and the rough mode is pretty good but chalky....That thing that I really had a problem is the dull and boring background...That was my main problem...U spend much of the time in a cave and that is frustrating for the fact that they made everything look pretty much the same...U just wonder sometimes if u even left the place....U experience very few moments out of a cave which suks..Th fact that they use every single thing all the time makes u wanna not play the game..Also in caves are dark and sometimes its hard to see opponents which adds more problems...It had some good graphics but the backgroung is just so dull and will bore u....
Sounds= 8/10
Like I said in graphics u spend much time in caves and every place is pretty much the same so the sounds of the places are pretty much the same but the on battle sounds are excepptional to that
Longetivity=10/10
It can be a long game if u want because of its new game + system like FFX-2 which would let u fight bosses u never fpught and get u items u want....Though sometimes this game will bore u and u probably wont even try the new game system.......

School was okay but it was really boring...luckily I only had a page for homework..but wen i got home i got pissed....or tried to go home......Wen I got home I realized that I dont have the keys to my house so I tried using the door bell like 10 times and 10 more times later...Then I decided to use a pay phone to call my parents because my dad destroyed his cel phone and he used mine. So i called them using the last of my money that I brought and both of them werent answering.. So i used the door bell again but no answer...So after waiting for 30 min I tried to pick the lock in the back door and it opened.. I got in my house and saw my dad sleeping...ugh that really pissed me off....How can he not hear 20 doorbell rings and his cel phone ring....ugh....Well at least I got in....
IM AM SO SO PISSED!!! My cousin spilled his drink all over the plug of my comp. My computer short-circuited and wont work. My dad sent the computer to get repaired. You know wat else pisses me off. I wrote i FIVE PAGE ESSAY WHICH IS DUE this tuesday...I didnt print it yet and it is on the computer..Wah I have to write it again. For the mean time I am using a very old and slow computer. It is like windows 95 or something and it is slow so slow..Right now am typing that five page essay but I am so so so very pissed..Ugh...I was planning to post a lot today because I wont be able to anymore cus school starts tuesday and im going out tommorow...Ahh...IM AM JUST SO PISSED OFF.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK its time to review the last ff series game in ps, FF9. Once again the expectations were high and it disappointed some and got the approve others. FF9 combines the best of FF and goes back old school ff and combines it with new stuff and u got ur self a pretty great game. This was my first ff and it was a good thing cus this game was easy to learn. Not as complex as FF8 and that is a good thing. FF9 was a great game but I get the feeling that it was the most ignored ff in the PS. Its a good game but not as good as FF7 but a little better gameplay wise as FF8. The great thinng about FF9 is that it was balanced. It has a good story, good gameplay, and good graphics but it wasnt as a big impact as the past two games.
Story= 9/10
It was a pretty cool and straight through story. It was easy to understand. The story combines old-school ff and new ff to bring u a classic but unforgettable story. Though its story is good the characters were a little forgettable. Though they possess a charismatic personality...they were forgetable. The great thing about FF9 is its humor. This has got to be the funniest FF and it is uplifting. It is a very feel good story which makes the game refreshing. It was still a great story though. The only problem I have with the game is the fact that it goes out of focus in the end. U thought u were fighting Kuja but then they spring u with another opponent out of nowhere. It was just so weird. U didnt even know about this guy and he was ur final battle. It was just to out of focus but it still shines.
Gameplay=9.5/10
I like the gameplay of FF9. It was simple an fun. It brings out the best of ff and combines it with great new features. The great thing about the games battle mode is its pretty fast pace. This time u get to fight faster and u dont have to wait. Of course that was great but it could cause major problems. It was fast and if u try to look for a spell u would be blast. If ur spells wer organized u would be able to blast ur opponents with ease but though it caused some problems, it was the best part about it.
Graphics= 10/10
Truly one of the best. I have never seen a game with so many FMVs. It was filled with beautiful movies but once again it wouldve been good if it had some voice acting, but nonetheless it was spectacular. Though it did look cartoonish, it looked great. It had some improvements from FF8 but I really like the fact that it was filled with so much FMVs. The game got even better once u see the first ever summon in FMV form.. Wow seeing those summons in a FMV for the first was so awesome. The best parts were the battles between the summons. Truly breathtaking.
Sounds= 8.5/10
It had a pretty average music but it had some mprovements from FF8. The battle and outside songs were average and the main theme was average. It was a good soundtrack but of course had its flaws. But of course the songs were pretty good and will not scare u away from the game.
Longetivity= 10/10
I have to say this is the longest FF in PS ever. It was filled with lovable sidequest and it was long expanding to 4 disc. I really like the sidequest in the game. They were all good except for one. The card game in FF9 which was great in 8 was awful. Ugh. It was frustrating cus it had no rules watsoever. So all u have to do is place a card in a mat and hope u win. Still though it was filled with wonderful sidequest like the Chocobo games which was even more fun than any sidequest I have played.
Overall= 9.4 Mix the best of FF and you will get a pretty good game
