@crecca: It’s nothing to do with a mindset - he’s explaining to you why jobs won’t move from the Far East to the U.S. as a result of these tariffs (cost of wages, benefits etc.) and you’re insulting him because it doesn’t fit with what you’ve been fed back home. Tragic.
This strategy makes perfect sense for MS. When you've got bangers like Forza, Indy, Halo, GoW etc. why wouldn't you want to port them to other consoles and cash in?
For me the only concern is that MS will at some point decide not to bother releasing XBOX consoles, which will be a sad day for those of us who prefer the hardware, interface, achievements and infrastructure to anything on offer from Sony or Nintendo. It doesn't sound like this is on the cards in the short to medium term, though.
Let's just hope that the extra 30% from first party software sales acts as sufficient incentive for MS to keep churning out hardware....
It's remarkable that we have this game at all, but no game can be given a free pass, even under such circumstances - it still has to compete for your time, money and attention.
