And it's pissing me off.  I'm always too late.  "We just got in 50 of them."  By the time I get there, "we just sold the last one."  The quest continues...:evil:

So they finally came out with some details about the Wii.  Fine.  But it's a little more expensive than I would have preferred.  Not because of the system at $250, but because of the price of the extra controllers and attatchments and the like.  And I'm sorry, the prices on the game downloads for the virtual console are at least $2 each more than they should be.  We'll see how it pans out though.  Certainly better than the ungodly amount the PS3 will cost.  Not getting one.:x

Aren't we close enough to the Wii launch?  Why no news on what I'm looking forward to the most?  I want to know how much it's going to cost me to get Super Mario Kart and Donkey Kong Classics on the Wii!  Only one I've seen is Bonk's Adventure available from the TurboGrafx.  What is the problem with releasing these details?

After years of resisting, I finally got a PS2.  I've always been a dedicated Nintendo fan, and still am, but there are just so many great games that are not available for Gamecube that are available for PS2.  The fact that MVP 06 was not released on Gamecube gave me a good excuse to get a PS2.  Some observations, though.  The system seems very fragile and I think the fact that it comes with nothing (besides one controller) sucks.  The Gamecube came with 2 controllers and a game.  Oh well.  I have 2 games for the PS2 so far and more on the way.  I'm looking forward to the Godfather and Jaws Unleashed.  But I still love my Gamecube and look forward to getting more games for that system. 

I recently hooked up three old systems, the NES, Genesis, and Atari 2600.  I love those old games.  They bring back a lot of memories.  Hard to believe that the NES is over twenty years old.  Seems like yesterday...
