I wished they'ed just get banned outright but I guess this is ok. Its cool that if they get caught a second time THEN they'll get banned. Who knows but maybe there'll be a few of them who realize hacking is stupid and they'll be persuaded to join the light side.
How open versus linear is the gameplay going to be? The developers have to give the player as much freedom as they possibly can or its not going to have a lot of replayability.
We have the community to learn and be inspired and the various modes in the game to practice what we've seen and read. Nothing more is needed. Whats so bad about thrusting these players into the game and seeing if they can "sink and swim"? Thats what we do with every game. We learn from trial and error and thats what makes it fun. What better way to learn how to play like that than getting online and practicing with friends and the pros. Maxwell says that all of the techniques one has to learn can be daunting and turn off a new player. OK, yeah if they don't have the heart and desire to pick themselves up from their bootstraps and forge on after getting their butts whipped. Obviously, if they rage quit a session then maybe they aren't mentally ready to take on a fighting game. Thats ok, no problem. They can always come back to these classics and there will always be a new game to learn when they are ready.
I'm in love with gta iv and eflc. If the aim system is anything like those games, on top of all the bullet time and strategic cover system, this game could be my new addiction.
