Why did it took me so long to post?
a) issues with the pc
b) I was to bored to post:P
Dont worry it will be quick
Conflict desert storm....is a 3rd person tactical/action game set in 1992 (I think) in Iraq. You have 4 characters a sniper, heavy weapons (machine gunrocketlaunhcer) the squad leader and a sneaky demolitions epxert. Desert stom is a game with propably some of the best missions i have ever seen in a tactical fps/3rd person shooter. You mainly move in paths/roads and comtrol one character at a time and switch beetween them in order to get them in position and resolve the situaton with tactis. Allthough you can order them or switch to a character at any time.
There are desert and urban missions. Objectives may vary, such as destroying AA vehicles or sneaking into a base and planting explosives on SAM missiles. Or even being in an urban area and use your demolotion expert to sneak behind a tank and blow it up, or make your way through the corridors and get inside a building, stealth kill the sniper and use his vantage point with your own sniper.
While it sounds hard and too tactical, its not. You can pick up weapons and ammo from storages and you got tons of medkits. Even if someone falls down, you can still revive him. There are moments that many enemies are spawned just like cod4 and you have to take them out. So its a game that there are tactics but you are not gonna miss shooting a lot of enemies like every other shooter.
So far its a "suprisingly" good game and if you want something simple and not to tactical, then i highly reccomend it!
What else? Oh yeah, there are 2 vehicles in the game, sadly you can control only one character, so you either drive the vehicle or use the machinegun or shoot the cannon. You can still switch beetween characters or order them to move and shoot.
Now the bad part is that it has the WORST aiming i have ever seen, either its way too fast, or way too slow when you zoom in.
I managed to get past it since you are getting better latter on and it only takes to zoom in and shoot.
In the begining you are not very accurate and you will notice misses. Later on you get exp and get better, also you get better weapons.
Very good game, i reccomend it: 8.5!!
Elder of scrolls iv Oblivion
So many people love or hate this game. To tell the truth i enjoyed it alot and its propably one of the best rpgs i ever played....Ahh ouh , stop throwing keyboards at me and listen: The truth is that its not an rpg as making choices through dialogues. Neither its a game thar you have to level up all the time since the monsters and npcs have balanced level with your character.
The reason why i liked oblivion is because its a HUGE game with insane amount of content and stuff to do, i spended about 80 hours. The game has a huge map with so many things to do and so good looking enviroments, sadly they are not unique, they feel kinda the same. All that stuff are a pure ground for modding, which is the amazing part of the game.
The gameplay of Oblivion is balanced because it had to be balanced in order for you character to facre daedra assasins and exploring oblivion gates....and surviving!!!
Think about it, what if oblivion was slow and require from you to level up all the time? The result will be another slow as hell morrowind with very borring and slow main quest? Unlike morrowind, oblivion starts with an epic way and shows you a tutorial with an epic way too. Also some of the first missions, like closing and oblivion gate and saving Kvatch or finding the emperors son and taking him to cloud ruler temple. Are just epic scale quests that if the combat was not balanced you had to spend plenty of time leveling up or starting by simple quests sush as taking stuff from grandma a to grandma b:lol:!! Which kills the whole point of making quests that supose to attract the player to play the game more and not drop it. Like morrowind which was so borring, like the developers did not care if you get bored on the way.
Oblivion has plenty of feautures and plenty of troubles. First of i wanna say that it has amazing sound and the sword combat is one of the best i have ever played. It also has great voice acting but the problem is that there are few actors with very distinguish voices, so you gonna keep hearing the same voices in the entire Tamriel :(
The game has features like potion creation or spells and the abillity to repair armor and lockpick, sneak or even collect various items and use them to make other items. Eg bt collecting bones you can make arrows along with another item.
I did like the combat balance because i did not want to spend too much time leveling up before i explore a dugneon. If i had to level up the game would have been slower and it would be annoying to try and find a dungeon for my current level. Let alone that i would spend double the amount of time playing the game ;)
The point of the balance is that you can start anywhere and visit whichever town you want first and not worrying about skill level. Also every town has diffirent acrhitecture and guards so you can tell which is who by looking at a building, oh and it has plenty of towns :) thats the way i like it. Believable worldmap.
Oblivion has some problems like the guards that always know where you are, but it can be fixed via mods. Everything can be fixed via mods. Add 100 new monsters and weapons, add your own mage tower, make your own quests, get a pirate ship and hire pirates to do the job for you.
One thing that has to be noted is that the sidemissions quality is EQUAL if not better to the main quest. Thats something that worthts to be pointed out to that other game...gough, gouh mass effect that has cheap missions and its not worth messing with. Thats another reason i liked oblivion so much, its not a game, its life, you start venture off and do sidequests and it feels like its a part of the main game. You will run into some cool situations. Like slieeping on a ship and taking off to the open seas!!!! Explore ancient temples and solve the mistery of the Aylids... and many other stuff that prove that the developers did care about the freeplay quality.
The story and main quest in the game is not much, but propably better than today's crap. It kinda turns bad near the ending but anyway it was fun as long as it lasted. The story in the game is not much but atleast it aint generic. The whole Cyrodill universe and how a cult managed to open hellgates is something non generic, atleast you dont fight another dragon at the end like all those generic Knight rpgs!!!
Overall its propably the best Freeplay/ modding paradise game i ever played. 9.0 and 9.5 with mods!!!
Finally a game with huge and dense worldmap filled with forests and plenty of towns!!!
Rise of the argonats
I liked that game much more than mass effect. Well apart from the similar dialogue system there is not much to compare. One of my biggest complains in mass effect is that the story and characters are not well done. Also the directions is pretty meh sicne you make so many diffiren choices and it misses the whole point. But this game is diffirent. You have one character. Thats Jason and when you make choices in dialogues you mostly say the same thing since the developers want the story to be told right and not turn into random. The choices you make represent which god you wanna gain power from. Its a cool idea because many times i had to change my choices in order to satisfy one of the gods.
The story in this game is done very well and the directon and voice acting is also one of the best i have ever seen. The characters and dialogues are so epic. The way that games captures the Greek mythology is amazing, it worhts to be experianced. The levels of the game are somwhat small, some linear, some more like town that you have to travel into and talk to people. Kinda like mass effect. But unlike mass effect. Rise of the Argonauts has amazing level design. The acrhitecture of some buildings is amazing. Why mass effect can have so well designed buildings?
The gameplay is somwehat hack and slah and not rpg. You got 3 weapons, a fast sword that cuts fasts. A slow but powerful mace than can break shields fast but its not as lethal as the sword. A spear which is slow but it can be thrown and you can connect you attacks and grab enemies and toss throw them on their allies!!! Just like "300" :)!!!
You mainly swtich beetween those weapons and use the shield which has a bash attack just like "300"!!! Also in your travels you will find diffiren weapons and armors with diffirent capabilities. Finnally There is an upgrade system that gives you some god powers to use in combat. In order to level up you have to devote your actions (completed quests or achievements in the game such as convinicing a character or killing 30 enemies with a weapon) to one of the gods. Once you fill up the bar you will gain a power. What is dissapointing is the bosses which are all must be defeated in a very stupid way like the developers lacked ideas.
Overall this game was an amazing cinematic Greek mythology eperiance for me so i give it 8.5!!
Brothers in arms hells highway
So this game is sequel to a tactical fps. The thing is that it plays more like a gears of war game than a tactical fps.
First of all the story is pretty impressive with some plot twists that are worth checking out. It also ends like its gonna be another game.
Second while the story and the loacations are good. The gameplay is awful. It cannot be played as a fps. The screen turns red all the time and you can practiclly take cover behind something and kill everyone by yourself. No need of use of tactics. The new stuff are that you cam use 3 teams and order them to flank or take cover behind stuff. But, while the maps do look better and more physical than the previous games...there is no way you could play them tactically, alteast i couldnt find a way, after a while i just gave up trying to be tactical and i just killed everyone. The game does not feel tactical and the maps dont point out how to use tactis and where to use them. Thee are missions that you are inside a tank and you destroy everything in your way, just like that, just like a console game!! Or even use a sniper to shoot many enemies and you cant leave your position.
So the story is good but the compaign is meh!! Ok then, should i buy it to play it as another ww2 fps? Absolutly not. Even when you play in 3rd person mode combat feels pretty unsatysfing. Basicly this game does not sucseed in anything.
I give it an 8.0 because the story is really "Freaky" and its worth taking a look on how Matt is slowly going nuts and for the awesome plot twists in the game. So just for that 8.0
Xmen Wolverine Origins
This has to be the best movie game i ever played. The story is ok for a movie game and the graphics ok too. The combat and enemies are also ok without doing anything amazing, Level design is pretty good.
So overall i dont really have something to say apart from the fact that this games is the only movie game that not only it does not suck but it is actually good. Not amazing but stil very well designed. It was fun playing as wolverine and trying out stuff. What really impressed be is the length of the game, which is not short. Its actually long. Also they used objects that can be pushed just like god of war. Ofcourse there are other puzzles in the game so without anything good or bad to say, i give the game 8.5
Ghostbusters
Another good move game, not as good as the previous but it still does make you feel like you are a ghostbuster. The ghostbuster element is done perfectly. There are plenty of areas to hunt and the game is pretty well done apart from the last mission which is quick and pretty un-epic:(!!
So ok its a fun game, and i might dare that the atmosphere managed to be scary at some times  no seriously. It also has a few good ideas. But its a terrible port with broken aiming and laggy view. Basicly its pretty mediocre but the actual game was good. Therefore 7.5
Next time sillent hill origins and bionic commando, and we will see what else...
