@JBStone So you think that nintendo is adding another analog stick because as a way of finally "admitting defeat"? First off, your whole argument is leaning on the crutch that the 3DS is a failure because it has no games. Sorry, if you think that the 3DS is going to fail you are a fool. History does repeat itself, and its going to once again prove that there are people ignorant enough to think that every gaming console must live up to "hardcore gamer" standards. I am by and large the definition of a hardcore gamer. I have competed in mlg Gears of War 1 and 2 matches. I also play games like pokemon and mario kart. So don't give me the nintendo fanboy argument because its just as short sighted as your other arguments here. And you are crying about two cancelled projects? Really? I think I made myself clear when I said that the market of people interested in buying a 3DS will increase as the supply of games does. Games are starting to come out, and last month 3DS sales were second only behind the XBOX 360 in sales. So if you think that's a failure I don't know what to say to you except that by Christmas I wouldn't be surprised if it was the number one selling console.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm not attaching that large turd to the back of my 3DS. I don't think anyone needs a lesson in economics so I will make this brief. Ready? THE 3DS IS NOT YET A FAILURE. The 3DS is a piece of hardware that, for all practical purpose is a great success. I bought my Cosmic Black 3DS after the price cut and am VERY satisfied with it. This is coming from a college student that is too old to be playing with useless toys. I did my research, I tested it out, and I love Ocarina of Time 3DS. I did NOT BUY a 3DS to play console games. I bought my 3DS to play nintendo first party games. Anyone who knows the game industry knows that the only reason you should even THINK of spending money on nintendo hardware is for the first party products. As great as the vita looks, if I want to play games that require two analog sticks (FPS, FPS and more FPS) I will play on my XBOX 360 or PC. Look, the DS has games that you can't experience on a console, that's why its so great. This extra thumbstick is just not necessary. Anyone who knows the kind of first party games that nintendo makes should know that two sticks are not required. If you thought nintendo was going to change gamespot, you were wrong. The console isn't selling because mario kart and super smash bros. arn't out yet. Just wait.
@viniciusbarth You can't buy nintendo and expect to be playing the top of line games. I'm sorry, but nintendo is on the path of limitation. Sure nintendo has inellectually stimulating games bu so what? So does XBOX 360 and PS3. Sometimes I want to play a realistic first person shooter. I like animal crossing but you don't invite your friends over to play animal crossing.
