A new Gears game. I really admire the visual presentation of every Gears game. I wonder how this one will turn out gameplay-wise and how the narrative will be dissected.
I do hope the Lost Planet series scores a home run this time. It really has a lot of potential and the developers surely have the spirit and dedication to make really visionary-type games.
I kinda love the fact that most of the buzz is for Sony! They've really presented us with really quality previews, trailers and demos this year. They have a more solid line-up of games. Microsoft and Nintendo's presentations were really exceptional as well, but Sony, I think, took this one home.
I am definitely reminded of the Uncharted series, in terms of the visual flair of the game. But, it's a unique game in it's own right, this Tomb Raider. It shows a side of Lara that's never really explored in any of the previous games: her vulnerability and exposure to pain.
This new trailer really explodes! It got me excited about the game, and I am definitely going to play though all the over-the-top action. I just hope the horror-feel of the series is still retained and improved.
Dead Space 3's presentation is definitely one to watch out for. Visceral has always surprised and satisfied us. This game will definitely be an incredible one.
You can 't deny that a number of the games shown in the show are violent. And yes, the ones that definitely stood out were the more dramatic, cinematic and emotional offerings from various developers, both known and indie.
