Officially Completely Utterly PreOccupied with GH

Yes, its official. Its gotten to the point where I'll get a lil dizzy when I finally stop, the room starts moving, which apparently all GH addicts suffer from. Oh well. My favorites to play: Cowboys from Hell (I can squeak by on hard), Infected, Ziggy Stardust, Unsung, More than a feeling

Battalion Wars!!!

The roommate got it on gamefly, so I didn't have to spend money on it, lest it sucked. But I don't think it will, I haven't had a chance to play yet but I'm excited. I suppose that's all. And oh yeah, there's a sh**load of snow outside. Maybe D.C. will finally invest in a plow.

Guitar Hero

Having failed miserably at Dance Dance Revolution, I was not looking forward to further suckage with Guitar Hero. Surprisingly, I'm much better at GH than DDR, possibly has to do with the presence of good music. Guitar Hero is massively addictive, I blew through easy and most of medium (damn you and your strenous songs, Ozzy Osbourne!) in hours. I used to play guitar, and while that doesn't necessarily help, it does give you the same feeling, even though you're only pushing colored buttons in conjuction with the small lever that is supposed to be akin to strumming. Nevertheless, I do feel like a rock star when I get those all those chords in the chorus right and the solo goes off without a hitch. This game is easily 9/10, can't wait for the next one.

FPS, good stuff

This is my first foray into the world of FPS, and I daresay I enjoy it. BRO was no easy task, cover was your only option, any time spent out in the open in front of the enemy resulted in immediate hits. having been first exposed to this, I find Finest Hour to be much easier (granted I'm still on the first level) I don't find myself crouching behind trucks or picking off the enemy one by one from under a pile of rubble or something. Next I'll move on to Metroid Prime, I think. If anybody has any suggestions, I'm open.
