Well, the only benefit is the money saving part. If u have gamepass you just save yourself 50+ tax, and if you in PS, having a subscription not giving you anything, you still have to drop 50+ to play that game in your platform. But yes, is coming to all 3 platforms, there is no need for fighting. 🙄
Well, let's just say that most people don't have money to throw away on a minor upgrade that will run you nearly or more 900 bucks if you also buy the disc drive and the stand.

The price increase is not just because of the purchased of Acti/Blizz, it had to do with both, quality of game is higher now and is getting better and is going up, and yes obviously the purchase of Acti/Blizz.
As for comparing it against PS+ games, u can't tell me with a straight face that Sony is not juicing you and me, and every other customer out there that they have.
You are charged for both the subscription and the first party games separately. They are not included in their subscription services skim.
Yes, the quality of games is better at Sony. But is it that much better for them to be screwing you that much and at that level? I'm not sure about that. No first party games will be a deal breaker for most people and it is for me.
It is really expensive to be a Sony customer these days and it will just get even more expensive as we go and move ahead.
Up until 4 days ago, my last Sony console had been a PS4, but a good friend got me a PS5 for my birthday. So, I finally have one, but yes, you're hearing from a customer of both Sony and Microsoft, and I see a lot more value in my Xbox and in Gamepass.
I was not subscribe to a Sony subscription when i just had my PS4 and having a PS5 it is still not changing anything for me.

The reason they increase the price, is because the quality of the games is better and, in my opinion, very good right now. Call of duty games, Diablo, Indiana Jone's, Stacker 2, Microsoft flight simulator 2024, Avowed.
Next few months they going to have some heavy hitters, so we just going have to wait and see.
Other games for next year like, Perfect Dark, Fable and others with no release date yet. I think the future is looking good, or at least on paper.
I'm not concern about the price of gamepass, since it is still cheaper than Sony and i haven't paid a penny for an Xbox subscription in years. I always get my subscriptions through Bing rewards, so i don't pay anything.
