@joecollin: That's a great store but the only thing they missing is achievements. If they can add that, that will be the icing in the cake. A lot of people tend to skip GOG a lot of times because of the no achievements. They need to fix that and add achievements.
@raggedyman: Maybe PlayStation but i am very sure that you not going to see Gamepass on any Switch console. Nintendo will never allow anything that can get in the way of their own games or the way they do business. Gamepass will get in the way of that for them.
U are over doing it with that estimation. Forget about the Xbox Series X and the PS5, The Switch 2 might not even be as power as the PS4 Pro that came out almost 14 or 15 years ago.
I think it's $400 but who knows they might try to squeeze another 50 bucks out of you, on their dinosaur console and charge you $450 for it but I'm sticking with $400
@ecurl143: All those are good points but what about the tech behind the thing? They keep saying that the Switch 2 might have the power of a PS4 Pro. The PS4 Pro came out almost 15 years ago. Yes, that will be a hard pill to swallow to pay $500 for something that might have the power of something that came out 15 years ago. The key word here is the (MIGHT) be as powerful as a PS4 Pro. This thing might not even have the power of a PS4 Pro.
So, 500 bucks, I don't think so. For what you are getting, I think is $400
@itsnota2mer: i was going on incorrect information that i saw online. But if you wanted to be exact with it. The game came out on November 9, 2021. so that's 3 years and 3 months. They are saying spring 2025 but no actual release date. So, spring what? The beginning of spring or late spring? So, it might end up being close to 3 in half years. That's still some chunk of time for the other platform before it went to the other one.
No, is PC. It has games from both platforms. You can make the case for all 3 platforms. Basically, every Switch game is available through PC emulation, and they play and look a million times better than the Switch itself, as you can play them in 4K at 60Fps and even at 120Fps, which is something that you never going to see in the current Switch.
@player_1_ready: The game is more than 4 in half years old and very close to 5 years. So, if they release one of their top games years later to make some additional money, i guess is not that bad of a pill to swallow.
Also, by that logic, why would people buy a PS, when all of their games are already on PC and the few that are not there yet, will be there shortly.
Well, the only benefit is the money saving part. If u have gamepass you just save yourself 50+ tax, and if you in PS, having a subscription not giving you anything, you still have to drop 50+ to play that game in your platform. But yes, is coming to all 3 platforms, there is no need for fighting. 🙄
