Now I realize how the GOTY term was trivialized. Far Cry 6 "GOTY" is a joke.

@smouche_mole: I'm always 3/4 years late regarding videogames, so this is irrelevant. I compare GoW with other games as old or even older, the newer games I've ever played was Death Stranding and Sekiro.

I recently finished GoW (2018). It's a good game, but overrated imo. Considering general reviews and comments, I expected much more. Baldur is disappointing and uninteresting for a main antagonist and final boss, gameplay and combat are just ok, there's a lot of room for improvement, valkyries are just cheap and boring. I'd score it 8.

I really love all MGS games, and I tried to play DS for dozens of hours, so I'm sad to say that this game is boring as hell. There are good things, story is typical Kojima, nonsensical, convoluted, full of drama, most characters and the world overall are really interesting, many things you do in the game are meaninful, there is a motive behind it, but the main gameplay is just annoying, delivering things, managing packages, trying to keep them in good condition, all those things are not fun at all.

@ExoticCharm: I feel happy when other consoles release top games because it makes Sony work harder, but X1 and Nintendo hardly are competition these days.

Will it happen the same as Baionetta 2, which was given 10 and in the end it wasn´t even considered Wii U GOTY by Gamespot?

In my opinion, multiplayer only games are much better for gaming industry, cheaper and more lucrative than story driven games like GTA, The Last of Us, MGS, Uncharted, among others. No story, character development, much less developed level designs, voice acting, programming, no facial and body movement captures, much less cinematics, or none at all. These kind of games are the gaming industry dream come true, if you know what I mean (despite my bad english). MP only are lesser games.

I didn't play Overwatch and I don't think it's a good choice for GOTY. Multiplayer is the dessert to me, not the meal.

@razecah12: I always thought GTA was the definition of overrated.

I hope Bioware improves combat and character development systems, because previous DA games were much better to watch than to play.
