A new genre for my blog posting.

After some people complaining about my recent review of Metroid Prime 3, I've decided that I'm gonna take a break writing reviews here at GS. I had to change my review several times due to some "spoilers". Heck, my review for Diddy Kong Racing DS was long because I wrote every single thing about the game, the features, completely spoiling the whole experience of the entire game to individuals reading my review of DiddyKong Racing DS.

So from now on, for now, I'll just rate the games I play rather than talking about it. There are only a few reviews that I've written that didn't include anything that would ruin the game, like Crush for the PSP. I don't know when I'll return to writing reviews in the future, but I need to learn to describe the game by it's high points and its flaws rather than giving out secrets and anything that would completely ruin someone's anticipation or thoughts of buying that specific game.

It may be a couple of weeks, perhaps months, before I start writing reviews again. And until then, I'll need to learn my lesson if I want to continue writing reviews in a way with my own style, with my own opinions, with my own critique.

What luck! I bought Metroid Prime 3 today as well as a new controller to replace my broken one. Just played the game for one hour and I gotta tell ya, total ownage!!!

With great luck comes with great risks and responsibilities. I do have to pay my uncle $40 for the new wiimote though, but still, I'm very happy that things turned out good for me.

I'll try to create a review of the game as soon as I can, I'm still on the Galactic Federation area of the game (I'm not that far into the game, just still in the beginning.) I'm taking my time getting use to the controls, as they are solid and precise.

And what's up with GS giving Prime 3 an 8.5?!!! They gave Twilight Princess a rating somewhere around there (They must hate Nintendo or something). Well whatever the reason, at least most of us MP3 owners really like the game.

I won't be able to buy Metroid Prime 3 today due to my Wii remote being damaged earlier today. Here's the story:

I was playing Wii Boxing when suddenly my Wiimote hit the nunchuk and as this happened, the TV screenmy Mii'sright hand just rose up and stayed up due to this :o I tried Wii Bowling and I couldn't even throw the ball since the remote wouldn't respond to the controls :x And when I tried playing Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic was walking backwards due to the non-response to the Wiimote :shock:

So I don't know whether to buy a new remote or the game itself. If I buy a new controller, I'll just have to buy the game another day. But if I do buy Prime 3, then I'll just buy a new controller whenever I get the money to buy it. (which means I won't be able to play my Wii games for a while) :cry:

This will be the final Countdown to Corruption blog since Metroid Prime 3 will arrive later this week.

To start off, Nintendo Power recently rated Prime 3 with the highest rating: A 10 out of 10! This is probably the first 10 NP gave for a game since they revamped their magazine's look in 2005 (before they redesgined their magazine format, they used stars, from the Mario series, to rate their games). I'm not sure why NP didn't give Twilight Princess a 10 (it should, it deserved it!!!), but instead they gave it a 9.5.

I'm happy that MP3 got such a great rating, and now on with some other stuff...

The release date for MP3 is on August 27th, but when I was viewing the Metroid Prime 3 Preview channel on my Wii console, it said it would arrive on the 28th. I'm confused about the release date since most games are in stores on Tuesdays (I think Halo 3 will be in stores on a Monday, but correct me if I'm wrong on this).

Well this wraps up my Countdown to Corruption blogs, and I'll let ya know when I get my hands on MP3 sometime later this week.

CHOZO. Inspired by my Chozo avatar used here on Gamespot, this drawing took me about a half-an-hour to complete.

SAMUS: METROID 20TH. Since the series turned 20 this year, I've drawn this picture of Samus in honor of this unique franchise (of course I could've drawn her better though) :(

DARK SAMUS. This is my variation of Dark Samus from Metroid Primes 2 and 3.

So what's this whole "6h05tly" thing on my signature? Well.....

It is my username for online games for the DS and Wii. (As seen on the above pic on my PSP)

By the way, I sold Sonic Rush, Star Fox Command, and Twisted Metal Head-On so I could buy Metroid Prime 3 next week.
