Attack of the Geese!

I looked outside this afternoon and saw a small army of Geese piling up on the river.  Naturally, I had to go kick some ass.  Ryan, the one man army.

The pics are really small, in order to fit TV.com blog lengths, so be sure to click the bigger image link.

Also, I'm working towards a new guide.  I should hopefully have it within the next few days.

1,001 Subs and an Editorship.

I past the millennium mark last night, reaching 1,001 submissions. :D

All those submissions got me editorship of Rocko's Modern Life, probably my favorite show ever. I talked to the former editor, KingJohn23, and he was all for the guide takeover. I'm happy I got the guide because I was the editor for it over at TVRage.com but retired when I left.

As Xmas nears, we like to decorate. Well, here's an ornament even a hobo could make. I am such a Martha Stuart.

I call it "Hobo Glass Bottom Boat Lights."

Everyone loves pics!

Boredom made me find my way to down by the river this afternoon. Enjoy some pics from the cold, but snowless, Minnesota tundra.
This poor guy was getting a workout today.

The frozen side of the river ...

... and the open side.

This all that remains of the old, old, old bridge of Hanover. Yes, a bridge use to go through my backyard.

Animal tracks. ^_^

Roscoe will drink water from anywhere.

Hope you enjoyed the pics. I should have a new Roscoe video up soon.

Suggestions, anyone?

I've had my Silent Hill banner up before the movie was even in the theaters.  It's been out on DVD for a few months now, so I think it's time for a change.

If anyone has any suggestions on a new banner, seriously, anything.  I'm open to any ideas.  Thanks.

You do a line and I'll break my toe, honey.

3 weeks ago I was playing indoor soccer. The ball was in the air and I was about to attempt a header when a guy much larger than me went up for it as well, hitting me in mid-air. I came down at a very ackward angle, and the big toe on my left foot hurt a little bit. When I got home I poked at it until I came to conclusion it was a mild-sprain. Oh well. I just continued to play soccer but with my toe wrapped.

Well, last wednesday I jammed the same toe in to the arena wall when attempting to break up a pass. It hurt a lot this time but I continued to play the game. When I got home and sat down, I realized just how much it really hurt. When I looked at it, it was all purple and fat. I went to the doctor thursday, got some x-rays and he told me I fractured the bastard.

Considering this is only my second injury in 14 years of soccer, I can't complain (the other being a broken pelvis woot woot). I guess I don't have anything else to say. Peace.

The Fountain

A masterpiece?

Ok, The Fountain is not for everyone. In fact, I went to see it with three of my buddies and two of them thought it was the worst film they've ever seen. Personally, I thought it was bad ass.

The director, Darren Aronofsky, also made the great film Pi and Requiem.

The movie itself follows three different story lines that are tied together, but also have nothing to do with each other. Confused? Yea, it is. The main idea behind the film is that there is a Tree of Life, mentioned in the Bible, which was located in the Garden of Eden. It has the power to grant immortality.

If you like action movies, if you like comedies, if you like horror movies, you may find yourself bored with this movie. In fact, I'm not even going to recommend this to anyone. Wait for the DVD, which I imagine will be much better. After all, a movie that spans well over 1000 years is hard to tell in 93 minutes. It was probably heavily edited and cut down. Again, wait for the DVD.

Roscoe Video

I wasn't even aware you could upload videos here.  I put up a video I made a few weeks ago for my new dog, Roscoe.  I would appreciate it if you guys watched it and recomend it if you liked it.

Thanks.
