@racerxgundam agreed. I take no sides in the console wars any more, but I cant remember off hand any console having so much negative reaction/predictions ect before its launch and iv been gaming sense the nes. I def cant think of a single what I call major console that has had such bad vibes before release. sure the less popular/main strem systems like the Atari jag,3do ect were not overly hyped before launch but even they did not as far as I can remember have this kind of hate3 going on. and it does seem like genuine hate beyond that of the typical fan boy troll bs you always see.
iv never owned a MS console, don't really plan to own one but as a consumer and a gamer I hope MS pulls it togather and does well. tight competition is a good thing for the consumer and gamers.
he def has done some great things for gameing, but i have to say IMO i think maybe he has been slipping the last 5 or more years. iv not played any thing from him or nintendo that has wowed me like SM64,oot,ww in a long ime. gallaxy was really ood but it lacked that WOW lv of greatness and freshness that 64 had same with the past zelda games ect. of course he set the bar very high with said games but for thne most part, with a few exceptions its almost like he or at least nintendo as a whole has gotten a bit lazy. and i do not mean that in some trollish way. just how i se it.
if it really lets me sail around open world like in a large area and explore ect with my ship and have some random ship to ship fights then its a day 1 buy for me. if how ever the ship/sailing aspect is a limited as in AC3 then meh. i want a full on free roam pirate game like PoTC PC game was years ago after mods. id like to be able to hop on my pirate ship and sail in real time to def locations and have random encounters with enemy war ships and cargo ships to plunder. imho the pirate/age of sail time is one of the most fantastic and hugly under utalized settings for video games. you have big cool ships,sword fighting,some shooting,tropical enviroments,lots of places to explore ect. the potital is unlimited.
as for there horrible movies, awful prettuy much covers it. id rather instead of makes 5 or so craptastic forced campness movies just put that budget in to one good movie.
i dont know, stargate uni was ok. not great and def IMHO the weakest of the 3 stargate shows i would still say it was descent to fair. 7 out of10 stars lol. in factit was IMO starting to get pretty good the last 5 or 10 ep wich of course ment it was canned :P. im hopeing for a remake or contenuation of babylon 5 my self. excaliber was ok but not up to B5's standerds. ;)
your prob better off. id give it at least a few weeks or a couple months before buying one so you can keep an ear out for any defects ect. when something like this is first released the manufacturers are rushing like crazy to get enough systems built for the launch and that can lead to defects ect. i always wait a little while to be sure they get the bugs worked out so to speak, and it also gives them time to release any needed post release system updates ect.
