@th3k1ngslay3r: Yeah, but ya gotta imagine they chose the location with some kind of political intention, no? If they didn't want to be critiqued in this way, they shouldn't have put the setting where it is. That's not an issue of free speech so much as it one of being sensitive to reality.
@jayskoon93: Eh. The media we consume influences how we see and engage with the world, period. If they spoon-feed us crap that is so blatantly intentionally set up to comment on society as it is right now, lame. If they serve with this set-up some steaming hot pancakes in the form of a fun game that also offers nuanced commentary about where we're at as a society right now, great! Either way, if you're not interested in that aspect of the game, I fail to see how somebody pointing out where it succeeds or flops in that realm impacts your experience of the game. If you wanna enjoy the game regardless of how well-designed it is... then go do that. Lol. "Wah wah wah," I think you said? :P
@kidcitrus: Ahh, I've read things about Ni No Kuni, but alas! No PS4 lol -____-
I've been an Xbox gentleman since the beginning (because I'm an absolutely unwavering Halo fanatic), and even I can see that Xbox is absolutely BLOWING IT this generation relative to PS4. I don't know if you know Supergiant Games (Bastion, Transistor), but they went from releasing originally on Xbox for Bastion to not releasing Transistor on Xbox at ALL. Sort of captures the essence of what has happened on a wide scale in terms of "gud-game availability" on Xbox One. I aint much of a triple-AAA guy either (besides Halo), so I'm down the river lol. Least maybe I'll be able to play Egyptian A** Creed hahahaha :P
