@PumpkinBoogie @Spinnerweb I'm sorry. When I said, 'active forums' I meant System Wars and Off-Topic, which are the only active forums to be honest. The others have only a handful of regular users doing all the posting. If you were offended, then I reiterate that I'm sorry. I use the Legacy Platforms forum reguarly myself, but I don't regard it as active to be honest.
I don't like the idea of Fuse merging, basically being shut down. Fuse was the reason I kept coming back to the site, since the active forums were full of idiots.
I'll probably stick around if the people I liked on Fuse do, but if they don't, then I don't really see much reason in doing so.
I don't like the removal of member levels and animated GIFs in signatures - it took me ages to change my sig to that cricket gif! :(
But at least we'll have Fuse.
... Wait a minute.
We'll still have Fuse... right? :(
Anyway, hope that the improvements really do 'improve' the site instead of just 'changing' it. Good luck and hope the new GameSpot is stable and as good as this one that, glitchy as it became in the end, I came to love *wipes away tear*
I feel sorry for him here. Even though I've barely ever heard of him before. Maybe it's just because of the way he's saying it. Maybe it's because I don't like seeing someone unhappy. Who knows?
Zombies are to video games what Stephenie Meyer's vampires are to movies. And I mean movies. Sure, Twilight started as a book series, but they really bastardized vampires in movies with them.
@quakke Maybe the reviewers enjoy CoD and such? Good for them, but there should be one reviewer who reviews the CoD games and therefore can compare the games in the series and show them up for the rehashes they are.
I don't mind if a game gets a score I feel it deserves better than, because it's the reviewer's perspective. It only really irks me when the reviewer is showing obvious bias or clearly hasn't played the game through.
So I have no qualms with this review. If a person think they'll enjoy the game, they go ahead. They shouldn't insult the reviewer over it.
@volc-123 Well, despite all the annoyances and glitches, it's still the best gaming site around. Maybe not the best site for reviews, but the best overall. So... don't leave man! D:
God, can't GameSpot review a good game once in a while? And I'm not saying that they shouldn't have given this game 5.5 or anything. Hey, good review. You told us what the game has, and now people can decide to buy it or not.
But I am fed up with so many negative reviews on GameSpot. If my memory isn't fooling me, seven out of the last ten reviews I've read on GameSpot had scores of 6.5 and below, which I am sure is in most cases because the game really isn't that good. My problem is that so many positively received games have to go without reviews on GameSpot, not due to a lack of reviewers, but because they're all too busy talking a horrible game nobody's going to buy. Why not stop telling us what's NOT worth our money and start telling us what IS worth our money?
