Ohhh man ... I'm really impressed with the loads of additions! Can't wait to have more and more fun with the series that no other shooter seems to be able to catch up with in terms of innovation on gameplay. Well done devs!
@TheDoorMouse That is the most idiotic view on justice I've heard in a while. Innocent until proven guilty is a principle to protect us from being prosecuted before it's actually proven someone is guilty.
I think Joel is finally a REAL MAN as a protagonist. Being "emotionally broken" like that is just what a real man would be like if he had to survive like that. If you (as a man) can't identify with Joel, you either are not a real man, or you are not truely able to imagen what it would be like living in such a world. In my eyes he is smart and in control as much as you can be in that kind of situation.
On the ending: I don't think Ellie knew Joel was lying about the Fireflies. She was just hoping so much she could provide a possible sollution for mankind, that what you see in her eyes is dissappointment as well as it's hard for her to accept it as a truth.
I've played every Naughty Dog game now, and this certainly isn't the best one. The surroundings don't change much and combat is no challange. It's beautifully made though. The main problem I have with this game is that you're constantly "searching" for stuff arround you at the most obvious places. So the "exploring" starts to feel old after an hour or so. Other than that, good game!
