@SolidSnakeJT @victor_martin12 Wrong, currently only 1/3rd of the steam library works on these. Not to forget the tonne of games that dont come on steam (battlefield, deadspace etc)

@aps6686 @Vodoo most of the steam machines cost $500, so i dont see consoles being cheaper than them. And the SM also provide more power for the same price.

"All the hardware" just means choosing a graphics card, processor and RAM. whihc you will still have to do because each steam machine comes invarious configurations. Minus the fact that 90% of the steam machines will not have windows, i dont see linux working out for casual joe who cannot even "working out all the hardware"/

@Auction_Sniper I say pc should remain PCs. Steam Machines wont work as PCs anyways (they run on linux what do you expect?)

@dj_ene-miss 3 or 4 of the steam machine revealed so far cost about $500. So a console wont be "much cheaper", unless you compare it to the $1900 steam machine bolt 2.

@theprismhead It supports only 1/3rd of the games in steam library, and not to forget games that dont even get released on steam (battlefield, deadspace etc)
