Yep, I'm a senior now, and I go back July 30th. Wow, time passed by so damn fast, next year I'll be in college. It's gonna be the return of the mack this year in school, I'm gonna try to date as many girls as possible, and not be tied down to one the entire year. 8)

Lately, I've felt the need to make a poetry group so I can really get some stuff heard. I've recorded my 13 minute LP about a week ago, and I've gotten some good feedback from it so far. (I'll let you guys hear it, go to myspace.com/lyricologyspeaks) Anyway, this group will be composed of poets, guitarists,pianists, artists, rappers, and singers. I've already established it (sorta), and it's called A.T.O.W.N. (A Taste of What's New). I've made a concept for a full length album from the group, but I gotta get at least 10 more people. SO far I have two poets and an artist. When I make the album, I should let you guys check it out. DEUCES!

At Bojangles they got me working like a...slave. I mean, five days in a row, 7 hours a day. Damn! But that's cake, going to school clothes and car insurance, so that's whats up. Sorry, I don't come to the ABU that much anymore, I have work and other sh** to do. I go back to school in July, damnit, but it's all good, senior year will be the best.

Well, chicknfeet. Since you were my first friend on this site, you've seen me e-grow into an e-young adult. Now, I'll be heading to college...Well, next year, lol. I'm setting my sights on Clark Atlanta or Morehouse to study astronomy, or chase my dream as a poet/playwright. I joined when I was in 9th grade, and next week I'll be a senior! Wow! Bojangles might have cut me loose,for some reason I'm not on the schedule. Hadn't worked in 4 weeks.First two was because I was in New Orleans. It still looks horrible down there yall. Maybe I should post some pics of me now.

Me w/ Long lost grandma..might not work. Anyway, I met my long lost family on my dads side. It was amazing. 

 

I'm still writing poetry/rap, and I'm starting to get in touch with neighborhood beatmakers to put my stuff on cd or something. I'm taking the ACT next year. Wow, I can't believe this, I joined gs in 9th grade, and now I'm about to graduate next year :cry:  It's a beautiful thing, you know. Hey, let me give yeall a sample of some of my rap/poetry.

 

Smooth mellow beats flow through eardrums

Hear the, snare tap loudly against the strings

I come, to the microphone, audience expecting

For words to flow out of my mouth, no heckling

Euphonius music helps us all live ou lives

Because there's nothing like hearing alicia keys live

Lips part, letters drip unto my heart

It pumps, illuminating those left in the dark

They see what they felt in the nights when they were blind

A pen, paper, a mic and their minds

Theirpassion, drive, love and determination

To succeed in this busines need not be impatient

Im directing yet another play soon, coming from the tech side though, its gonna be nice. I didnt write this one...Did I tell you about that guys? Well...I wrote a play called Soldier Valentine, about a soldier in Iraq writing letters home to his wife. She does the same. Its good because the character changes. At first he is really into the war, then after seeing his friends get killed, he changes his mind. He also has an incident when he raids a house with his squadmates, looks in a  closet and sees a small boy. The boy told him that his father is making him fight against the Americans, and he doesnt want to. Sad, but true sometimes. They let the boy go...In the end Lance Corporal Gomez (our hero) gets killed in a  hail of gunfire. Since I couldnt have more than two characters in the play, I had to have the "letter scence". His wife gets the letter, and realizes it is no ordinary one.

I actually made a couple of people cry. I wishI could post the script, but you guys may kill me and take it. I also wish you guys coulda seen it, but that wouldve been creepy. :lol:

My girl broke up with me only two days after our anniversary. She said she couldn't concentrate on her studies because she was worrying about me all the time...Oh well. That's life.

Tomorrow me and my girl will have been together 3 months. Time has passed by so fast. I watch the news everday and see the world is getting more f***** up everyday. How'd everyone's valentine's day go? Mine went well. I got my gf a shirt of her fave band, with a card inside and some chocolate. She loved it, and I'm glad she did.

I've been on this site about 2 years now. Strange huh. my bday was rally Jan 6th, but whatever...My gf is 18, her bday was on Jan 4th....W00t I have an 18 year old gf!

I finally got a job at Bojangles...(keep laughing chicknfeet) and I'm still going strong with my girl. I'll tall her ya'll said hi. Just jokin, she might get creeped out! My first paycheck will come on Jan 8th. I noticed while working her that IU don't wanna ever have someone telling me what to do. I mean seriously, one of the managers is 20 and she's talking to a sixty year old like he's a kid. I wanna be my own boss....This is Shadow, signing off.
