In my Rome Total War Campaign I'm about to start the civil war to seize control over the empire.  I've been emplacing forces for a long while and now am very close to starting the war.  I'm doing some covert work first, carrying out assasinations and sabotage with my spies and assasins.  The buildup is like D-Day, I've been planning exactly which cities to attack first, how to spread out my forces and I've been thinking about blockading all their ports on the first turn of the war. hehehe I will crush them

Also in other stuff, I'm still drewling over Civ IV and X3: Reunion. I want them both but want to wait for them to come out in Best Buy so I can get my employee discount on them.  Best Buy is so dang slow in getting PC games these days and their website is terrible concerning PC games. They really are missing out on some money, I've had to buy new games other places many times because they didnt either carry it or get it fast enough. I work there but they really suck with PC games. 

Alright its been a little bit since my last post but whatever. I'm currently playing the expansion to Rome: Total War. It didnt add or enhance a bunch of things like I hoped but it still a fairly good expansion. I'm not looking for new games and there are a bunch of them comming. Cant decide between buying Civ 4 or X3: Reunion. X3 would be a big change from what I've been playing for the last few months and it sure would be one of the pretiest games in a long while. Civ 4 however may be much more addicting and engaging. Hmmmmm, I'm leaning toward X3 since the release date is near, but I'll prob just end up blowing all my money and buying both, well see...

I've been working all weekend, and messing around with my fiance'. Cant find time to play games, must play games or I will die. (goes to corner mumbling and curls into a fetal position)

Also, been looking at all the Civ 4 and Rome: Total War Barbarian Invasion preview stuff. The maps in Civ 4 look a little crowded and arent as polished as I hoped they would be, but I hope its cool b/c I'm looking forward to playing a new Civ game alot. The new stuff for RTW: BI doesnt seem like a big change for the game. The game already rules though, hope there are some hidden improvements and goodies in the expansion.

Ok, this is my first Journal entry, feels kinda funny but what the hell.

I downloaded the BlitzKrieg 2 demo last night and installed it today after looking over the games description. The game looked promising with historically accurate military equipment and some other cool things. Well the game turns out to be a fast paced RTS like game with historically accurate units. Definately not for me. Unistalled

Next on the subject of my beloved Silent Hunter III game. FINALLY after 12 patrols over nearly two weeks real time, its January 1941 in game. Decided to purchase the new IX-C long range U-Boat with my masses of renown. The boat is a little more sluggish than my type VII-B but it holds almost twice as many torpedoes. Cant wait till I engage a convoy.
