good to see devs are giving console gamers more customization over their experience on consoles but unfortunately options to play the game at rock solid 60fps and remove effects like lens flare, ca, depth of field, exagerated bloom, vignette blur...are still not standard on consoles. that´s what made me go back to pc gaming, i can play at rock solid 60fps and remove the annoying effects i don´t like.
looks good but consoles need options like pc to remove depth of field and lens flare. devs need to understand not everyone likes this effects and that´s why options are necessary.
if microsoft wants native 4k, scorpio needs good specs so i expect that price. in the end is all about games graphics and performance, people will spend the money if it´s worth it.
more mp games should do the same, instead of letting old mp games die. more people get to try and experience this games and they already have some kind of microtransactions wich gives devs more revenue. it´s huge oportunity to bring new gamers to this games or franchises and make new revenue from old games that almost didn´t make any. i am actually surprised more companies aren´t doing this, since free to play creates alot of revenue.
i don´t think ps3 price was wrong, the problems were coming a year later and the hardware making devs work difficult. paying more and getting worse game visuals and performance than xbox360 was the real problem.
i do think ps4 price was right and good for casuals, however ps4 pro price and specs are wrong. ps4 pro is a high end version of ps4, a higher price means better specs and people will spend the extra money if it´s worth it.
there is market for expensive tv´s, pc components, smartphones...why wouldn´t there be a market for expensive consoles?
