"Nintendo isn’t always trying to take its games very seriously." Finally, my theory has proven to be true. Japanese developers DO NOT take their games seriously. They always throw some random goofy S*@! in their games that don't need to be there and doesn't make any sense in the first place. How was that so hard to realize decades ago?
Great Review Kevin. Just another example why MMOs need to be fixed badly. I'm not going to settle for lower graphics, less immersion, and chaotic co-op battles until it measures up to next-gen stuff.
I love commercials and how easy they show random people getting together for some online fireside gathering matches. The truth, it's not that simple, half the people in the commercial are not even interested in games so be careful with false advertising.
Sometimes I wish they would show new game footage or something other than going to an awesome show, playing the hell out of it and only discussing everything they had seen and done without any visual evidence of it. It just sounds upsetting to me but that's just my opinion.
This must have been a really hard article to write for Danny, being that he works in a non-stop video game environment only to come home to play more video games. Danny, how do you relieve your work stress when video games is your work? Hmmmm?
