The classic controller pro works on the VC and when you are playing Wii games. There really is no reason that it couldn't work on Wii U games, but to my knowledge, there isn't a game that uses it.

I think the pro controller is great, fwiw. It's jut not as good as the tablet.

Awesome, so I might just get that. Wanna play Wii U online with some friends of mine who also have it, but as everyone else in this thread already pointed out, Wii U games generally don't have online, and I was feeling a bit confused lol.

Okay, that's great then. Is it only with friends, or is it random and with leaderboards and stuff?

Thanks for the responses, I do understand that third party games and multiplats have online, but more often than not, the online community is too small for it to be worth it, like @Slashkice said. I had however, forgotten about Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate entirely.

Does Wii Sports Club have online? That might be fun to play against others, if it does.
