Neo_Gamer81 Blog

It was bound to happen.

(wow two posts in a month... something is not right)

Today as I was palying WoW with my hunter Danner, I was given command of the very small mostly inactive guild "Behind the Shadows"  I don't even have the talbard but now that I'm the Guild Master I guess I have to.  If people don't jump ship by the end of the month I'll do what I can to fix the broken guild.

I really don't have the time to run this guild but I can't give up my chance to run a guild.  I need to set up an officer call and brainstorm Guild leadership and direction... I will sighn on later and mail all the other leaders and set up a chain of command.  I'm going to see if my milltay training will payoff in the leadership department.

As it stands now Danner just hit 30 this past weekend so at mid-level I'm not much help.  My main man Kimbell is still under development and more fun than the hunter (most of the time).  If it wasn't for the PvP ranking I'd take time off the warrior and put more into the BtS.  Anyone who reads this and wants a fresh start in a new guild, go to Terenas make a Alliance player and PST to Danner for an invite.

Reset

So... ever have your HDD crash on you?  Mine did and now I'm back with nothing... I need to reinstall everything, it sucks.  I'm going to be with out WoW for a while too... big bummer but at least I'll be able to work my PC right from now on.

...at lest I hope so.

...and there goes the time.

So I've been playing lots of WoW.  I have completely let it ruin my social life.  I still go to work because I still need to pay the bills.  I now have one of each class in WoW and I'm starting to understand the ups and downs of each class.

I haven’t had too much time on my PS2 (damn TV is acting up).  I’ve gone one time through MGS3 and have bought “Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories” for my Gameboy Advance SP.  That is a fun game with it’s combo of cards and real time fighting.  I still can’t wait for KH 2 to come out.  Also I’ve picked up on the “Ultimate Spider-Man” for the PS2.  So far so good but, I won’t give it to much credit because they took away the manual swing mechanics’ of Spider-man 2.  I can play Spider-man 2 just for the web swinging… it’s that fun.  That’s it for now… back to WoW.

My component TV won't support progressive scan... WHAT!

If you are wondering if the tidal is a typo it's not. However there may be a reason for this madness. I have a temporary stand that is too small to support my new 29" component TV. This has caused me to shift / tap the TV several times after each time I turn it on in order get all the color. I could just put it on the floor, but then I'd have an even harder time trying to do two things at once.

I haven't logged an entry in a while because I have a renewed obsession for my games. I especially have spent even more time on WoW to get my main character to level 60. Gadgetzan is not my idea of fun but helps with the level up process by dropping me in a whole new zone of really mean, Higher level enemies and Horde. The sad part is even fellow alliance players are acting like jerks (shakes head in disappointment). I rather need to find another area or just bypass the quest and proceed to grind the long way to 60. I'd rather take the quicker path because of the fact that most people with my play time have 2 characters at 60. (Whispers: I also need to stop playing my alts and let them rot while I achieve this.)

Now what have I been doing in other games... Picked up GT3 love and hate it. Got 007: EoN good, very bond, and quite a challenge. Finished all the main missions in Spider-Man 2, working on 100% completion (on-again and off-again). Continued to un-lock all the fighters / extra costumes in Tekken 5. Haven't played GBA in a while... no way to recharge the battery in a 230v house plug.

That is it for now I'll be back in about a month.

I freakin want TOMB RADER!!!

I am so excied now, more than ever, about the new Tomb Rader. I had just finished watching the E3 demo and MAN I'm drooling for the game. I'm also back on personal e-mail and fully online once again. I'd say more but Iso want to catch up.

Must...get...broadband...[thud]!

Now that I have my new place (with nothing in it) the first order of business is getting all of my utilities set up... but no shops and restaurants are open on Sunday. It looks like I will have a lot to do on Monday. Man I hope I get payed soon all this moving stuff is eating at my bank account. Well if I can get my broadband set-up this week I'll be happier than ever. I'll update everything, download the new patches, and start regaining my time in WoW. Of course I'm going to keep track of my business stuff too.

I think I'll grow to really like my new place once I get some furniture in there. I hope I don't spend too much getting it set up. The last thing I need is to spend an arm-and-a-leg, for stuff I can get cheep. In the end my pay check should cover me if I spend smartly.

I wish, I wish I had my own place.

I have moved to England not too long ago but I now need to find a place to stay. I need a place I can settle into and call my own so I can get back to the normal work and rest cycle. I also need to get my broadband Internet back so I can log-on to WoW. I still get by though... I bought a new slim line PS2 and it works great. I also recently bought Spider-man 2 fot and it is not too bad of a game. I love the swing control and the fact that you can swing through anywhere in the city. The boss fights are a bit of a pain and there is not enough difference in the missions.

However... the next Spider-man game to come out is looking good. I love the "Ultimate Spider-man" comic seres (what the game is based on), it is so cool. The makers are intent on recreating a comic book feel to this game, which can be cool as long as the man writer of the series can have a hand in the game's plot.

Well that is all I have time for today...

man... I feel so alone (in WoW).

I’ve been playing World of Warcraft for some time now. I never get to do the long all night sessions any more because I haven’t got the time. My friends however who started after me are now well ahead of me. One of which has stopped playing after hitting level 60. Now I don’t “know” the people I play with. I suppose it can’t be all that bad when I get to chat with a lot of cool people online in my guild. Soon I’ll be a better help with my mount.

But I can’t hope for much until I get set in my new home.

... I think it's working.

I play “World of Warcraft” and my main character is (level 36 Human, Warrior) named Kimbell. I’m torn between him and my other cool characters, but I like the way I have developed him and tonight it showed. I was making my way down to “Booty Bay” and after I get with in 1-2 minutes of it I get attacked by a horde hunter (3 levels above me). I think the H*** with it and I charge after him not his pet, him and… I’m kicking his but.

I think about it now and I remember that Hunters are more of a ranged class than hand-to-hand. I have one at level 11 on another server and I know I can’t deal much damage when I get up close.

So after 10-15 seconds I gain the upper hand and finish him off before I lose over half of my life. His buddy tries to chase me down but I get past some “friends” and the buddy gives up on the chase. I continue on and do what I needed, buy/sell items, etc.

After I work some quests (and get jumped by 3 or 4 horde) I run into a level 40 Tauren warrior. I think “Ok now I’m really dead. I’ll just hurt him until I die.” The thing is I didn’t die, I came close, but I did not die and I won again. My victory is short lived however when I get jumped by the rest of them before I regain full health. I am so happy to know all my hard work and tweaking has made my warrior strong enough to kill others above my level. I hope I can keep this up till max.

WoW honnor system :First Impression

WoW is a very fun, life consuming MMO that that has yet again released another patch. The "Honor System" is the most anticipated in this patch. I for on have had the unfortunate main character at mid-level in a new zone when the patch was released.

Before my Warrior was relativity unhampered exception being the bored 60 horde who would run into me for the fun of it. When I got back on I was experiencing a new level of frustration. Groups of horde running around not giving any one a chance. THANKS TO BLIZZARD FOR GIVING EVERYONE A REASON TO BE UNFAIR. Someone tell me the honor in having a group of 5 people, who are all 40+, Kill a level 35. If this keeps up I'm gong to quit the PVP realms and forfeit my chance of a mount before I move.

I still love the game and will give it a chance to balance it self. I have a feeling the forums are loaded with other low levels with similar rants. As of this writing though I have maid it my mission to stomp any opposing force I see my way. If only to cause damage to there equipment I will fight to the end, every time.
