8. Blades of Glory 93%

9. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl 92%

10. 28 Weeks Later 91%

Well, that's my Top 10! I don't think anything will ever over throw LotR from the top myself. As you can see I like Horror movies and Action movies  Anyways, feel free to comment :D

The Dark Knight is one of the best movies I've seen in almost half a decade

Yesterday, I went to see the Dark Knight in IMAX HD. I expected it to be my favorite movie of the year so far, but I was blown away when it went beyond that. Very few movies have wowed me that much since the end of the LotR Series. The whole movie was fantastic all the way through. Heath Ledger performe outstandingly, and is the best joker so far IMO. If anyone hasn't seen this movie yet, I have no idea what's wrong with you. It blew me away and I'd expect is to do the same to anyone.

My opinion on "The Bomb"

As many of you know, the people of GS are flocking to the Giant Bomb and Jeff like crazy  I really don't know if it could rise up to take down Gamespot, but I for one hope it doesn't. I hope it does good and all, but I've grown to attached to this place to let it go so quickly. I for one will not be moving from GS to the Giant Bomb until the forums run dry. I love the Union feature that GS has, and the forums here can't be triumphed as of now. Yes, I will make a Giant Bomb account and maybe stop by every now and then. It'll be the same name I have on GS (NFS102). But I plan on staying with GS until the very end, so don't expect me to reply to your messages anytime soon  That's all for now.

Post E3

Now that all the E3 hype is slowly fading away, I'd like to wrap up my thoughts of want went dow this year. Here we go  :

Overall, I thought Microsoft had a pretty good showing at E3. They showed some awesome gameplay and trailers for Gears of War 2, which I thought looked like the best game shown at E3. They also announced the massive surprise of Final Fantasy 13 which really stunned gamers arounsd the globe. Those two things were the main highlights of their E3 for me, since the new avatars just looked average in my opinion. Overall, I think they had a solid showing at E3.

Personally, I thought Sony had the best E3 showing this year. They showed some awesome new Resistance 2 footage and announced the soon to be massivly hyped God of War 3. The other new features for PSN also appealed to me more than the ones for the 360, especially the awesome line-up of PSN games. I thought Sony did a really good job this year at E3.

In the end, I was very disappointed by Nintendo's E3 showing this year. Nothing at all interested me outside of Wii Speak. The new Animal Crossing and Wii Sports may appeal to more casual gmaers, but where are the real games? They did not give us a new Zelda or a Star Fox or anything else that would please me. Just Animal Crossing, Pikmin and Wii Music. I really expected something big from Ninty this year, but it turns out I was wrong.

.

And last but not least, I got 2 new emblems for watching E3 :D This takes me into my 3rd row of emblems :P Yay!

But anyways, that's all I have to say for now. I am really pumped to see RE5 and GeoW2 come out, since those are my 2 most hyped games as of now. I'll call this a very good E3 this year. I already can't wait for E3 2009!

Later.

Pretty hyped about tommorow's E3

E3's first day started off pretty good with the MS press conference. The Gears 2 footage looked great, and the new interface looked pretty good as well. Overall, a solid performance by Microsoft.

But what I really want to see are the Sony and Nintendo press conference's tommorow. The Wii mostly, since it is the only console I own as of now. I really want them to announce a new Star Fox or Zelda, but I do not expect it. I hope to get a PS3 sometime, and I really want to see how they respond to the pressure of delivering more big titles to follow up Metal Gear Solid 4.

I will be glued to E3 tommorow, hope to see you there :D

100 Friends!!!

Today I got a 100 friends added to my GS friends list :D That's a pretty good milestone to me. I'm also coming up on 3,000 posts, which will also be blogged about soon :D

I am a Pyro master!

After a long time of effort, I finally unlocked all the weapons for the new TF2 Pyro DLC. I got the Axtinguisher today, and already have racked up almost 10 kills with it. For you guys who want to know, here is the set-up of weapons I use as a Pyro:

Primary: The Backburner (this thing owns)

Secondary: The Shotgun (Better than the flare gun by far)

Melee: The Axtinguisher (If someones on fire, they as good as dead to me :D)

My now playing

Well, I'm out of ideas for what to blog about and I haven't done one in a while :P So, I guess I'll just update you guys on what I'm playing now

The main thing I'm currently playing is TF2 for PC. I'm still working on the last Pyro achievements, and also practicing up for the Heavy achievements at the same time. The game is still incredibly fun, and I can imagine I'll be playing it for a while.

The other thing I'm playing is LoZ: Thw Wind Waker. I got this game literally 2 days before I got a Wii, so it was overshadowed by all the next gen stuff. When I was looking through my old games, I stumble upon it after completely forgetting about it  It's pretty good too now that I've gotten more into it. I'll review it when I get done.

The last game I'm playing is SSBB. I am working on beating the single player mode on hard, which I should do without a ton of trouble (except on Tabuu, he's a b****). I'm also doing a game night on July 12th for this game, so anyone who wants to play can :D

Batman: The Dark Knight

IGN Review: 5 Stars out of 5.

Overall, the film does maintain a steady pace and function with such continuously unnerving momentum that it occasionally seems like a second installment. (There are plenty of appropriate comparisons to other sequels its quality mirrors, if not possibly surpasses: Toy Story 2, The Empire Strikes Back, The Godfather Part II, etc.) In fact, so well-executed is this film that even the title - or at least its true meaning - seemed to catch its audience off guard, until it gets explained, expertly and poetically, at the very end of the movie.

This will be the best movie of the year. I can't wait for July 18th.

Review from IGN

Batman Begins was great, and they say this one is even better. I will be sitting in the theaters on July 18th, will you?
