As galerian86 mentioned, this better be called the In-Laws war.

The last couple of days have been hard for me.....real hard and painful.

I hate to find desperate solutions to last minute choices made by other people, in this case my in-laws.ç

They decided "LETS GO TO THE BEACH" ,

- Tuesday......It's not funny to drive in a van 8 ****ing hours to an unknown beach, like the brady bunch family....but worse...way worse.......

- Wednesday....... I mentally collapsed...... I won´t go into details because I could get moderated for posting explicit things not suitable for this site.

- Thursday (Yesterday) ....... DROVE BACK ANOTHER 8 ****ing hours in the same ****ing VAN........ with a major frontal synusitis.

TODAY....... I told my wife.....I DON'T CARE.... I'm not going anywhere...... I'm sick and I want to stay home.

At this very moment......I'm here , SOLO.....ALONE......finally......until Wednesday or so. They all left to her hometown.

Normally I wouldn't talk about this but I had to let this out.....one way or another.

My second vacation of the year started on friday ! :D Should I be excited? maybe........this means 15 days to relax and chill-out about the daily routine of work and taking kids to school......BUT ! This is not the normal run of things....... :x

Let me put this clear : I HATE FAMILY REUNIONS !!! HATE THEM. HATE THEM. HATE THEM !!!! :x

What happens:

- My brother in law is coming from LA to spend his vacation over here (I already knew that like 3 months ago).....with his wife and his father !

- My father and mother in law UGHHHHH !!!!! CAME TOO !!I DIDN'T SEE THAT ONE COMING !!! :cry: It's been8 years since I met them and I just can't get well with them.

- I love to spend time with my family....NOT WITH my father / mother in law nor my brother in law and his family. I just cant talk with hem about the things I like...music......games........ YES ! GAMES !

Do you know what I like ? I like to sit my ass on my couch, PLAY MY GAMES ! ..... eat junk food with diet soda like this:

Shouldn't I be eating some good delicious home made food ? NO !!!!!!!

Reason:

We were supposed to go outside for a tour around here and I just told my wife. NO ! NO ! NO !

You go.....I'm staying here alone. End of discussion. I

I need to be alone......believe it or not. I like to be alone hearing music and playing games.......so I drove to get a burger..... from Carl's Jr.......

I´ve been playing Uncharted for a couple of hours... While I was eating my burger guess who's the only one online at this moment :

That was it......I'm off to play some more before my wife arrives wih the rest of my lovely, lovely family arrives...and well... I let you know what happened in my next blog.

Those of you who commented on my last blog, youmay remember that I mentioned not being interested in Uncharted 2 because of Uncharted 1.......yet...... :)

When I played the Uncharted 1 demo I found the shooting to be quite hard and the aiming awful....BUT ! I had the feeling that this issue could be solved by adjusting the settings. I decided to redownload the demo and VOILA ! It worked just fine ! :o

I had the chance to complete the demo in no time. That changed my whole conception of the game. Yesterday I rented the full game. So far, it's prety amazing ! I'm having a Tomb Raider feeling that I felt was lost a long time ago. I´m having a great time so far......I'll have to get it in a few more days ! :D

Needless to say. it's visually amazing and the MUSIC ROCKS ! that is, if you're lucky enough to enjoy he game with 5.1 DTS sound ! WOW !

Having finished FFVII Dirge of Cerberus (about 15 hours) I found myself thinking about my backlog... since the only games I think I'll be getting for the rest of the year are Tekken 6 and Modern Warfare 2. :)

Here's a list of my unfinished games:

PS1.

- Resident Evil 1. Directors's Cut. I played the original RE1 back then in 1998, but I NEVER FINISHED IT ! :x. Funny fact is that I completed RE 2, 3 and 4. Got it from Amazon at a very reasonable price. I'm going back for some REAL survival horror in this one.

PS2.

- Metal Gear Solid Substance and Subsistence.I already finished MGS2 and 3. I bought the MGS collection mainly for MGS1. I'm tempted to play Subsistence, but I don't know if there's much difference to warrant some game play.

- Final Fantasy X-2. Didn't like it.....I'll leave it gathering dust. Give me some good reasons for giving it a chance.

- Final Fantasy XII. Same as FFX-2. :?

- Tomb Raider Legend. This is gathering dust at an amazing speed.....I'll sell it or trade it for something else.

PS3.

- Call of Duty 3. Having finished World at War, which was 100% better.....I don't know....I'm making up my mind upon this one.

- The Orange Box.

a) Half Life games. I've played some Half-Life 2....haven't touched episode 1 or 2 ! :o. Any differences about them ?

b) Portal: What am I supposed to do here ?

c) Team Fortress: Great but there are better online games.

Any recommendations in here ?

Hello there ! Good morning to everyone. :) The title might seem a little strange.....the truth is that I wanted to make this blog a long time ago. It's time now.

Some of you may know that besides being a Doctor and playing videogames.....I like helicopters.

My father is a helicopter pilot, now retired. I used to fly with him tons of hours........when he had to go out fora 3-4 day tripI had to ask for permission in school to go with him (if possible).The last time I was lucky enough to go with him was in 1993. :( I miss those days.

As today with the MS flight simulator I still can fly (almost). :D

This is a full scale reproduction of the Bell 412 cockpit. I managed to take some pictures with my camera. The start and flying procedures are almostthesame to the real thing.

This is a view of my logitech attack 3 stick. This is usedfor the cyclic, collective levers. Works pretty well.

I got this racing wheel and pedals. I managed to configure the pedals to match the ones you have to use in the flight simulator. I still want to get some flight pedals.

And finally:

I've been thinking about becoming a pilot, an air ambulance one. :o

That was it. I'm still in the process of making a video of myself using the simulator.

I wanted to make this blog at 1:00 AM in the morning.......but I was to tired to type....so here it goes.... :)

I HATE ! regular sodas...... Do you know the tremendous amount of sugar that a regular coke has ? It seems that no one here likes Diet sodas.....well.... I DO ! :x I don't smoke and I drink every other time.....

Talking about games....well, I just finished GTAIV story.....using a cheat code for infinite ammo and health, some missions are just to hard to complete with tons of ammo...... Took me about 29:00 hours to finish it.... Now I'm having a lot of fun doing side misssions. :D

I played some of the good old games from the Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.....

HERE ME OUT ! You cant call yourself a true gamer unless you get this game.....available for both 360 and PS3 this collection is just amazing.....

The first time i play with a Sega genesis...wew..... :roll: 1989....1990.......some of you weren't even born ! :o :cry:..back then......hose were the times of good old gaming......no fanboys....no online...... only you and your reliable trusty console......

I have a confession to make...... There are some nights that I only want to place my butt on my favorite couch and PLAY, PLAY PLAY and more play...... wife ? Some days I just don't want to be with the wife..... sometimeswhen the Mrs asks.... lets go to bed.....remember you have to wake up early and BLA, BLA BLA...... :x .

Go ahead dear...... I still have to play some more GTAIV...... hey look ! Did you know that you can pickup a prostitute in the game..... and choose between a 20, 50 or 70$ "service" ? :o :x :lol:

Have "fun" with them then......:? That's the answer I got...... besides sleeping in my lovely gaming couch for 3 days. :) ......

Feeling a little better lets talk about games that I've been playing....... :)

* Killzone 2. :o

This is an awesome game ! If you're into FPS this is a must one! I ended campaign in hard mode.....and oh my...IT WAS HARD! I died tons of times before getting into Radec. The only thing I didn't like was the sniper aiming...that could be improved. Storywas OK....not great but OK. :)

Multiplayer is awesome! I played in a Game night with mods and the GS game night! What a night was that !

* Sonic Genesis Ultimate Collection. :)

In one word.. GET IT! If you have a 360 or PS3 go and get this game ! Pure nostalgia for us old :cry: gamers that fondly remember the genesis era......Only for the joy of replaying Streets of Rage 1 , besides, you'll get a chance to play Phantasy star games, and Sonic (the good games) 1, 2, and 3.

* FFVII- Dirge of Cerberus.

For some strange reason I felt an urgency to continue this game after I left it 3 years ago.... Had to read the manual again. While not a JRPG it has some inovative shooter elements, besides going deeper into Vincent Valentine life....

Set about 1 year after Advent Children....you have to give this a try. The CG are amazing......

What else.......

I just played InFAMOUS demo........didn't like it...period..... :x

E3 is coming.....the only thing I'm interested is the possibility of MGS5. :)

Now....Let's get back to sleep.....but with 2 hot babes along......:twisted:
