@letsgame82: If you're talking about games for the Xbox One, PS4 or PC, you are not saving any space by having a physical copy. You install the same files whether you download it or use a disc.
I never understood the hype for this game. I understood the hype for Destiny and Watchdogs but No Man's Sky was obviously far too ambitious for a studio who had only put out mid-level side strollers in the past.
@sadistfriends: What games have been delisted to the point you cannot longer download it even though you have purchased it (not free games)?
With digital games, I don't remember the last time I've had to wait for a game to install. I purchase a game online while I'm at work and by the time I'm home it's ready to play. I don't have to wait on shipping or have to run to the store to grab a copy then wait for it to install (and probably update) once I get home.
Sure, maybe it's laziness that I prefer to not get up and change the disc every time I want to play something different. It's like getting up to change the channel on the TV instead of using a remote. I also buy sliced bread so I don't have to cut it. Is it convenience or laziness?
Also, when ever I buy a digital co-op/online game to play with my wife, I don't have to buy 2 copies. I can share the game with her and we can play it at the same time.
@nongamer: But the games aren't losing online support, they aren't being removed from your hard drive and you will still be able to download them in the future even you do decide to uninstall them. Why do you have to rush to enjoy them?
@nongamer: I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the stuff that shows up as 'Content Not Available' is Xbox One content." And I think you have to have the disc in order to play DLC installed from a disc.
@nsignific: They can remove the ability to re-download a previously purchased game that has been removed from the store but I can't remember them ever doing it.
