I want Zelda...that is enough to sell the system for me. Hopefully it's as awesome as the best games but pretty much all of them are unique and fun in their own way.

I wish that they had offered in resistance 2 the single player story in coop mode... that's something I enjoyed doing with my brother where he'd be the ignored and nameless black man in the story :P...

I think their statement that they'll have 1080p running on all games is a bit of an exaggeration... with the limited amount of memory, that resolution just isn't going to be smooth enough for most games...they're trading off resolution to allow for smoother game play.

Multiple threads is a bit of a pain in the ass... mainly the problem of ensuring that they stay in sync.... That is mainly what makes the many core PS3 difficult to program on... Really the PS3 will never beat the 360 in terms of graphics because the graphics chip for the 360 is superior... but besides that they can use the power they have to make some awesome effects, physics, other such craziness that doesn't necessarily have to be graphical. Just because the PS3 has blu-ray doesn't really mean that the games will be able to use full resolution textures pretty much because of the cost of streaming those textures to the graphics card would impact framerates. Now they can accomplish it if they cut back in other areas of graphical complexity, like less objects on the screen, etc. But the main point of a developer's job is to try to find the right balance of gameplay and aesthetics... Basically they can have 1 super-ultra-omega HD textured enemy, or cut back and only have plain old HD enemies, but instead of 1 they'll have hundreds... that's a bit of an exaggeration but you get what I mean. The games for the PS3 will improve but I wouldn't expect them to blow the 360 away... just due to the limitations of the systems themselves. Basically the only advantage the PS3 has over the 360 is blu-ray but that really translates to more data available, such as more levels, more variety of objects to load, more cutscenes, art, sounds. But again the system limitations set restrictions on how much can be loaded at once... I think people should stop being so fanboyish and argue over which is better, really they're both about the same. Its the games that matter. I own all the systems and can tell you they each are awesome in their own right.

It may run ok. You need more memory for vista ultimate to play well. You can get 4 gb of memory from newegg.com for 50-80 dollars. That will probably let you play the game better... still not maximum settings... Just get memory that's compatible with your computer...

You can also access the benchmarks in vista when using the Games Menu by right clicking on the game icon... it gives you several options... I remember I ran the benchmark that way once just out of curiosity...
