I'm so glad you've gone to the future in order to give the game a try. As far as we know the stuff they're tweaking was what made people who played the japanese version not like it.

The future? The game has been played, and it was beyond crappy. So, they're tweaking a crappy game, which generally speaking means it *might* be less crappy. Or, in other words, polishing a turd.

I was referring to you playing it. I'm well aware of what the hands on impressions have been like and I was pointing out that the stuff they're tweaking could be whats responsible for all the bad impressions and reviews.

Then you should also be aware of what I'm saying and why I'm saying it. How often does 'tweaking' an awful game result in anything but an awful game? I can't think of a single example. You can hold out all sorts of longshot hope if you like, but you're fooling yourself if you're expecting this to be anything but the crap that it's already proven itself to be.
