I just picked it up today (well yesterday since its almost 2 am) and it is AMAZING. It is the only metroid game i own and the 5th that i have played. It comes with a shiny metal cover (ZOMFG) and an art concept booklet, as well as featuring WII controls on the first two games which were originally on the GC. I'm only about 2 hours into the first one but i've already been sucked into it and am excited to try the other two.

its christmas everyone and that means many of us have recently recieved games of epic magnitude. I personally got FF10 and 12 (about to explode with excitement) and after nagging my parents to the point of insanity i'm getting a cat tomorrow :) I also got Inception on bluray/DVDpack as well as The Road (movie not the book) on DVD only and 100 dollars in cash and 80 bucks in cash and cards. I downloaded arena and daggerfall a few days ago and absolutely love them. The only problem I have found is that it is hard to find guilds and i cant open doors in arena for some reason.
Finally!! (heh I just realized its a pun)

Motion Gaming

So far this seems to be the topic on many gamers minds and I figured I'd take a stab at it. Personally before I rally get into anything I'd like to say that I don't believe that the move or the kinect will ever really take off due to the fact that the wii has already taken most of that audience and the ps3 and 360 are centered around more mature games (granted the Ps3 does have a fewmore mature games in their move lineup) Anyway, what I've seen so far shows me that that the kinect is the big story right now so I'll start with it.
The Kinect has quite a few interesting features including facial recognition and the ability to use your entire body as a remote in contrast to the other systems. The Kinect works generally well from what I've seen and has a few interesting games in the mix, but that is where the positives (IN MY OPINION YOU FREAKING TROLLS AND HATERS) end. The Kinect is selling for 150$ which is a hefty price to pay for the few games that really have an interesting concept. The Kinect is also truely just a new eye toy which can make it seem like Microsoft was just stealing ideas for money. I won't say anything too negative abuot it until more games and news arise, but for now I personally am steering clear of the Kinect (Honestly I don't own a 360 anyway)However I will give Microsoft points for expanding their fanbase to more casual gamers and if you consider yourself casual then by all means feel free.
The Move doesn't seem to have as many features as the kinect but it does have a few things on the Kinect. The move is essentially a Wii controller with a ball on top, but don't be fooled it is much more accurate (the motion plus not being considered here) and it has a very excited lineup including heavy rain move edition :D and Killzone 3. Although its lineup is better than the kinect and it has more accurate controls its price tag is much higher. If you do not already own a PSeye than you will have to purchase one with the move and of course purchase a game to go along with it, all of these add up to a heavy price tag and just how many more serious games will we get afterthe current lineup has been released. Yet again it is good for the casual gamer and has a few perks for the more serious, but until we see more features and games I'm holding back on this one as well.
I did it!

Final Fantasy XIV

Everyone whose compkaining needs to just hold off on buying the game until the patches start coming. For all the PS3 owners waiting to get their hands on it, there is still hope if Square enix can pull their act together and make it as good as xi was.
Microsoft Advice
by Lonewolf349 on Comments
I like microsoft games and their consoles but this year I feel I have to speak out and say that they need to drop the kinnect and make a portable console to rival the ds and psp. The ds is already the second best selling console in the world and the psp has an amazingly good dlc library, speciffically psone classics, so why not make an xbox 180 (or some similar name) with all of the features from the psp and ds.

I was already excited because of the library and new features, but now it has its own gba and original gb titles on a virtual console. This is going to finally best the dlc that has so long attached me to my psp.
Greatest villian winner.

alrite people come on. Kerrigan really. She wouldn't even have been on the list if Starcraft ii hadn't come out recently. and darth vader has nothing to do with video games. I am disapointed at the trolls rite now, this is a new low
