@tanzel: just to be clear, ranking in number of people
1 - majority - people who are neither extremist, nor hateful
2 - loud minority - Hate for people for hating who people are.
3 - crazy, shrinking minority - Hate for who people are.
The problem is that the loud minority is also hating on the majority for not being loud and hateful as they are: if you are not with them, you are against them.
PS: the majority also disagrees with the crazy, shrinking minority
@tanzel: You are comparing types of hate, and I would agree.
But the thing is, we cannot forget the amount of hate. And currently the "less bad" hate (as no kind of hate is good, or better) is more intense and much more wide spread.
The majority of people are being oppressed to have an extremist opinion, just because it´s not as bad as a very small, and very crazy minority. It´s not OK
@tanzel: The thing is, at least in Brazil, it is almost beyond dispute that people of all shapes, colors, orientations, genders, etc, should all be treated equally and given fair representation.
But if you disagree with the violent protests, then you’re a fascist and should be silenced. The disagreement is if the means justify the ends.
