Joining the ranks of Virtua Fighter,Ace Combat,Assassin's Creed and many others.

I wouldn't be surprised if Snake aka Metal Gear Solid ends upon the Xbox360 down the road also.

The only "exclusive" Sony will have on their PS3 system are SONY games:
MLB:The Show and God Of War III plus the bonus Motorstorm game.

They keep losing exclusives at this rate what's the point of purchasing a PS3 down the road?
To play on "Home" aka Second Life or Sims??

This so reminds of what Sega went through and why after owning the
Sega 8-Bit Master System and the Sega Genesis,I held off on buying
the Sega Dreamcast and Sega Saturn which both turned out to just
be paperweights for those who bought them.Although the Saturn was
ahead of it's time,it might have feared better in this console generation.

I own a Playstation One,boxy Playstation 2(owned),Slim PS2 and a PSP

Once again I'm stuck holding off on the Playstation 3 and if history repeats
itself I probably won't be owning what might end up being an
expensive paperweight until the price drops DRASTICALLY!

Baseball season is upon us and especially if you live in New York City that means Yankees and Mets.

But it also means baseball video games,well two anyways.MLB07:The Show by SONY or MLB2k7 by ESPN.

Last year's MLB2k7 was the worst sports game I had played in years...so you know why I'm being pretty cautious in picking it up again this year for the 360.

So far I'm still waiting for Gamespots review,I've read Gameinformer which they gave it a 8.5/10.Mostly saying it's "graphically" exciting,gameplay is much improved than last year's but there is still a few quirks.

I don't like quirks,I'm a big baseball fan and if I'm playing a baseball game I want to feel like I'm in the game.
I don't want to be thinking out loud,why the catcher fails to throw the ball back to the pitcher after each pitch.Yes.....that did happen in one game I owned....it irked me the whole season I played that game too.

MLB 07:The Show
I picked it up because I played 06 and was blown away and felt it was the safer choice for a serious baseball gamer like myself 8)

Didn't think they could top it,they kinda of did but than they dropped the "easy out" when it came to the graphics.Feels kind of outdated on the PS2,the PS3 hopefully the graphics will look outstanding but than the PS3 is "rumble-free" which sucks because now not only does it vibrate on the pitcher.

Now,if you're in a clutch situation,you come up to bat,there's two outs,bases loaded,your controller will vibrate like a freaking "heartbeat".
When you step into the batter's box and when the first pitch is thrown to you.I got two bagger and cleared the bases on the second pitch so can't tell you if the "heartbeat" continues.

The catcher moves around like his major league counterpart,which I think is the coolest addition to this and MLB2k7 game,no more stationary Posada.
Catcher also calls the pitches,don't like the pitch,nod it off and call your own.

I'm going to see what yall think about MLB2k7,before I get it.I don't want to get it just for the graphics and the gameplay isn't side by side with MLB07:The Show

I have to admit,I'm better finishing sports games than any other.But I'm proud to say I finally finished Call Of Duty 3 in single player mode yesterday,took two weeks,2 hours per day,but I finally did it.There are few games that I have completeted....the Ghost Recon series,Medal Of Honor,etc.

But,I still have Gears Of War,Lost Planet and Rainbow Six:Vegas dunno when I'm going to finsih those since I just put my NBA2k7 back in my Xbox360 and MLB:The Show is in my PS2..........

I know alot of you have games coming out the wazoo.....
especially after this past holiday season.........................

I already had the original PS2 from launch back in 2000 but
when I received my Xbox360,I gave it away to the lil boy next
door........................................................................................

Having serious baseball game withdrawals and there is no way
in hell that I'm buying that garbage MLB2k7 or beyond.I went
and picked up a slim PS2 and MLB:The Show 06.

Oh......(inset drool) this game is AWESOME!!!!
Way better on the big screen than on the tiny~little PSP
(yeah...I put tiny and little in the same sentence)

Another reason....with Virtua Fighter coming on the 360,
Motorstorm not getting a decent review.........................
well the Japanese version................................... anyhow.

It's kinda cutting down my reason to pick up the PS3
until 07 holiday season.

I simply can't justify putting down almost $600.oo for the PS3 console to play one game!!!!

Yes....the frenzy will begin...trying to find on alone will be tasking.

Will it be worth it...well we will have to wait and see.

If one falls in my lap that will be a good thing,unfortunately I feel
to tired probably from "old age" to go on "the hunt" for one this
Thursday and Friday.I will probably stop in at Best Buy after the
frenzy,to see the aftermath.But if any of you lucky son's of &(^$#

I would be in that catergory,I'm pretty sure alot you are also in that catergory.

You can probably tell by the amount of games you have for your Xbox360.I have a total of 12,I have traded away 5 games.MLB2k7 couldn't get out of my console fast enough!

If I had a PS3 same amount time I 'm pretty sure I would twice if not three times the number of games.

Don't get me wrong,I like the Xbox360 great FPS as my man Dominican would say.Great racing games and good sports games.But that's about it...............

You really have to like Sony's variety of games and bigger library.Now,I know  when I do get a PS3,doubt I will have one at launch....but hopefully by Spring of 2007.

The Xbox360 goes back in the box and up in the closet with the Sega 8-bit,Sega Genesis and Playstation One,(PS2 gave away)it's gonna be kinda of crowded.But those are the breaks in the life of a gaming console.

How many of you bought the Xbox 360 just to hold you over until the Playstation 3 came out....be honest:wink:
