@PixelAddict @jasonlc3221 I'm pretty sure some publisher will pick up the Metro IP if THQ goes under but until they do go under, I'd rather have THQ funding it than, say, EA or Activision which would take away all the Devs' freedom.

@spoonybard-hahs @BillyColeman Same here; I've loved all 3 shows but over time both Simpsons and Family Guy have fallen off my radar. South Park is the only one that I still watch religiously, since its beginning.

@---Cipher--- @ggregd I would have to agree. I'm a red-head and yet found the Ginger episode to be one of their best :) Southpark is satire and sarcasm at its best. I just hope the game can live up to the show's quality.

@ronaldmcreagan I tried playing SR3, I really did. I wanted to like it, but ultimately I was looking for more depth and detail in my gaming, a complex tapestry of interweaving themes and SR3 just couldn't deliver. I can replay GTA4 seemingly endlessly - it's SR3 that bores me within minutes.

@l0kmun You're crazy; she's pretty much the only reason I watch this show most of the time.

It's not the first time he swears in the forums and also not the first time he's edited a post of his and played Mr Innocent post hence. That aside, swearing is one thing. The use of homophobic slurs should not be tolerated, especially from so-called professionals who are lead developers for commercial video games. There are words that are not just a string of meaningless letters, but have historical and social significance beyond their callous use by ignorant individuals who seem to forget that some groups are ostracized, victims of violence, or who lack the same civil rights as others either via de facto or de jure social means. The use of these words not only legitimizes and normalizes said violence or civil abuse, but also serves as a constant reminder to these groups that they are second-class citizens in the eyes of others. This is what the apologists for the dev, and indeed the dev himself, seem to completely not understand. It is also the reason why their use, and certainly pejorative use, is unacceptable - especially from people who are viewed as authority or influential figures.

@SolidTy What's funny about your post is that young kids aren't even supposed to be playing CoD since they're rated M, but you're right that they are clearly the target market

Excellent article. Too bad editors and journalists of the non-virtual news aren't as insightful

Metro 2033 had an awesome single player campaign and personally, this is what is drawing me to the sequel in the first place. I hate the notion that's being espoused by so many publishers that every game must have a multiplayer component to be successful. I'd rather they focus their resources on making a single player campaign that's awesome, than have a sp campaign that's average and a multiplayer option that would likely be outshone by the plethora of online multiplayer shooters already available anyway. In terms of replayability, if a storied campaign is well executed, multiplayer isn't even necessary. I replayed Metro 2033 at least 4-5 times and enjoyed every play-through, discovering new secrets each time. Cheers.
