I hope so, its like going back to the golden era of games IMO (Genesis/SNES) its just pure fun, nothing more nothing less. For example, by brother just got ME2 for the PS3, he used the code for the cerebrus network, now if i wanna use its another 15€, we play on the same freaking console... Other example, when my early 60GB YLOD i had to buy a new one 320GB bundle with FIFA11, all the save games i copy from my old PS3 don't work anymore cuz they are console locked not user locked, so now i stopped playing one of my fav games this gen, RE5 simple cuz all my weapons are gone and i don't feel like starting all over again. This indi games remind me of better times, a time where friends lend games to each other in collage, just a better simpler time where we didn't knew what milking is, it was just Video Games.
@ HavocV3 And as for this i'll have you know because he rated Kane & Lynch too low, EA was not happy specially because back then they paid a lot of money to GS on advertisements. Look under the sugar coat.
@ HavocV3 Halo is popular than God, nothing i can say will can open the eyes of anyone, proof is there for people who wanna see. Halo series as always been average at best, over hyped by press and fanboys. Story makes no sense, the little cutscenes there are, are to show off, little or none story telling. Game handles like master chief is over skates and regardless the weight of the armor he can just 10 feet high. Weapons sound and look like they were made by a toy company and you get no reaction what so ever when you shoot your enemies (aka drunk ewoks and other brilliant designs) 1 sec they are alive and kicking, the other they just drop dead with good old, OLD, rag doll physics. Locations are senseless at best, where does the covenant makes their weapons and ships if all i see is beaches, forests, woods, stone temples... trow a hangar or base in between and a digestive system... yeah, Halo... @ Agree. This is a first, graphic comparison between previews and latest installment? What the hell is going on here? IMO graphics aren't THAT much ahead of Halo 3, which were pretty much Halo 2. Its amazing how Bungie doesn't even bother making the game they promise (specially talking about Halo 3 and Reach) and still they get high rates, praised by the press which leads to sales. Really this is insane, the quality of this series does not justify the rates and press coverage it has, everything it does it as been done before and better i cannot see whats all about this really...
does anyone with this amount of available cash going around spends anytime play games? how many skydives could you buy? i know each here near me is about 250€...
Halo is not so big to be featured here, i can easily think of a dozen games that deserve more attention than, why does the press feels the need to rub it in our face all the time?
Whats the point in this? To show devs are lazy? PS3 hardware > 360 hardware ' . ' I mean look at MGS4, it kills anything the 360 has, 60 players lag free on Resistance 2 puts the overrated XBL to shame, really 16 players on Halo 3? Gimme a break. The only advantage the 360 has over the PS3 is: 1) Made by MS (and that does count) 2) Close to PC, the cpu and directx really make it easy So devs put more time and talent on the 360, so what? Should we buy the rrod cuz of that? I'm more than happy with my 600EUR PS3, if i cloud go back in time i would pick her over the 360 again without a shadow of a doubt. I'm only disapointed seeing the 50GB blu ray going to waste (except MGS4 so far) just cuz the 360 uses DVD9 (And even that they can't fill it, they only have like 7GB, correct me if i'm wrong please) 1st time i heard back in 2006/2007 that the PS3 was going to came with the cutting edge Blu-Ray disc 25GB/50GB for games the 1st thing on my mind was GTA, i started dreaming with an amazing city 2 or 3 times the size of San Andreas, needless to say GTA4 really dissapoited me. I am sure the 360 is holding console games back the same way the PS2 did in her time, and that a shame...
i don't think it's worth it the price seeing the performance, btw i pretty sure my PS3 loads the save games of GTA4 in less than 5 seconds, gotta double-check it later.. why are the 360 fanboys commenting this article? did u got the red ring and dont have anything better to do in the next 2/3 weeks?
