Making ragdolls

I'm currently making felt ragdolls of cartoon characters. Anime, manga, domestic animation (like Disney), videogames and the like. I also made celebrity ragdoll in the design phase. So far, the original line up of Korn has been rendered into ragdolls.

I make stuff like that in my spare time. They are cute in a whimsical sort of way. I gave them button eyes and I draw the facial features on in fabric paint. I have made 3 dolls, 2 versions of one and 1 as itself. The 2 versions I did varied in height and because I have a perfectionist streak, I had to redo the doll.

The dolls I've made so far are Xemnas and Xigbar (from the Kingdom Hearts series). Xigbar was complicated to say the least. But I had fun drawing the scar on his cheek and the "strings" for his eyepatch. I enjoy sewing to kill time when I've had my fill of videogames at a certain period of time.

I used to make plastic dolls, but my supplier for parts and I ran into an unresolved issue. So I decided last month to make dolls out of felt, polyester fiber, buttons, embroidery thread, fabric paint and hot glue. They are nice. I should send a photo to my grandma to show her I'm doing this.

For the most part, life goes on.

With the delay of a portable game system, let's think about the positives. If the developers are given more time, there won't be as many bugs found on launch week. Games will be given a chance to be tested thoroughly.

I know that Japan has suffered enough. I think the governor of Tokyo is guano loco. He thinks the reason for the entire disaster was caused by Tokyo being full of greedy people. The Earth burps and jiggles on its own accord, not because we did something wrong. But then again, what do I know about the legal and political systems of Japan? Not that much to call me a bad name. I may have an obsession with Japan, but I am well grounded in my American roots, so to call me wapanese or a weeaboo is an insult to me. I willgun you downat high noon. I have been training for the day I get my reward.

(Note: The last2 sentences are my tough guy talk sentences. I'm actually a nice person. The meanest thing I would ever do to you is direct you to the spoons when you wanted a fork, give you one ice cube in your drink when you had asked for a couple and\or tell you your shoes are untied when you're barefoot)

If you really are a true gamer and play games from Nintendo, Sony and Square Enix (NOTE: These Japanese companies are included but are not the only ones), go to the nearest legit charityNOW (I recommend The Red Cross) and pitch in a dollar or more. (I donated $3.75. I gave up tipping my server at a sushi restaurant just to show that I cared about people. The people affected by the earthquake may have a direct or indirect link to the industry.)

However, my contacts in Japan have updated that life goes on in Japan. Spring has sprung and with that, it's time to gaze at the cherry blossoms while having a nice picnic.

I plan on making an animal hoodie.

I was trying to keep it under wraps, but you probably have noticed I've decided to make animal hoodies. Well, they would snap shut instead of zip close. Also, they would make me look like alittle animal.

My prototype, which Iam creating with my mother, will probably be of Pikachu. Besides, I LOVE cute things. Although I can be cruel to people, I am not cruel to cutesy things. Besides, I take good care of my Pokemon. (Theoretically, Pokemon can be seen as a virtual pet game.)

Been replaying some 2nd generation "The Sims" games

Been playing The Urbz: Sims in The City and The Sims 2.

I wish I knew about 3D modeling, but it's SO hard to follow along to instructions. Also, I need money to use the modeling program. I also have to buy a graphics editing program. (this is what you need to do to make new objects and body shop pieces for The Sims 2)

If only tweaking your game was as simple as drag and drop.

Heaven from the perspective of my father.

My father went through a dramatic change in 2006. He became a Christian. I'll admit that at first I wasn't too thrilled.

Recently, my father heard from the inner circle of top preachers and televangeliststhat when we (my family)get to Heaven, it'll be one big party and our bodies will be free of any imperfections or defects.

I doubt that Heaven will have the largest shopping mall in the universe, I doubt that there would even be a Gamestop, FYE, Hot Topic, Sanrio giftshop or a sushi restaurant beyond the pearly gates. I even have my doubts that my pets will be there when I arrive. (I believe that animals deserve Heaven, because in a way, we can act like animals ourselves)

My idea of a party is shopping, playing video games, watching JapaneseTV shows and movies on DVDs, listening to European dance music, eating sushi and other Japanese foods and of course playing with dolls (I'm a girl who has been given the ultimatum: "Don't grow up" even though I'm in my 20's as of now.)

I believe that I'll get into Heaven regardless of my checkered past. I have been doing fine under my parents' supervision. My father believes that I'll be assigned a job in Heaven. The job? Sorting all the odds and ends on Earth into books. (BTW, although my father was raised Catholic, saints are strictly a Catholic thing. So, no, I don't even know if St. Peter will be there to let me in.) I have no clue who will be greeting us and welcoming us to "the neighborhood".

I'm doing fine, I'm not going to die soon. I ponder such heavy thoughts when I feel like I did something wrong.

Been playing Pokemon...and watching SpongeBob...

I have been immersed in Bikini Bottom andthe world of Pokemonsince the earthquake\tsunami\volcano\nuclear disaster in Japan. (When something REALLYbad happens in the real world, I escape to alternate dimensions)

I have made it to Nimbasa City in Unova and have battled on the Battle Subway, earning 3 BP. I plan on taking on Elesa as soon as I can raise my Sandile to an appropriate level.

As for Bikini Bottom, I have been in the gated community of Tentacle Acres. I think it sucks to spend everyday in paradise because you need a shake-up everynow and then. To paraphrase a Buddhist proverb, "Contentment to a degree can lead to suicide." Also, taking care of an infant creature is a team effort. Jokes about our differences are only funny if you can do it right. BTW for those ofyou who play ultra-violent games, I should tell you that "Good people don't rip other people's arms off."

I use my imagination to travel to worlds I've never been to. My dreams have been vivid and hard to describe.

Eat an apple.

I have been watching carefully what I eat. Sometimes, I wonder if I can be normal after this.

Appointments...

So, I had a busy week.

Monday: I went to the dentist. I HATE THE DENTIST WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING. Why? He hurt me this time. When I said "Stop!",I mean "Stop!" not "Keep going..."

Wednesday:I went to see my therapist. She has noticed an improvement in my demeanor since I started dieting.

Friday: I went to see my psychiatrist. She noticed the same effect I told my therapist. (both of them work closely together)

In an about an hour, I'll have to go see my primary physician. Why? I've been dealing with pain in my back and in my sides. I'm a little worried that it might be appendix-related.
