I'm surprised that this wasn't announced a couple of days ago when they shut down the Facebook game.
Oh and a side note to those who hope that this kills the entire company. Think about all the people that work for EA so they have a paycheck to feed their families, then think about what you have become.
@kagento Oh I didn't mean to suggest those games were poor. I was merely wondering what the process of making those games was like that would have caused this sudden change in direction for Criterion.
In game cash for The Sims Social? Didn't EA only yesterday announce they were shutting that game down? Sounds like the left hand doesn't know what the marketing hand is doing.
Looks like the Facebook game bubble is still mid burst. I expect we'll see a far slower trickle of new games trying to get all that FarmVille money in future.
