it would of been a financial success if it had character creator, we all know damn well why the game didn't sell as much as it should, even though not many will have the courage to say it. And just to be clear, i didn't buy it for that exact same reason, so i'm not blaming, just observing :)
Voted The Forest because they used original monster designs and not generic zombies or monsters from 30 year old movies...
Anyhow... Subnatica destroys every game on that list when it comes to scare factor imo, anticipation/build up and atmosphere is way more important than any amount of gore and creepy monsters.
But in real life, i cannot see my own body from behind like in 3rd person games, first person view is the closest thing we got to emulate our own conciousness into an artifical realm at the moment besides VR.
Every single one of ur complaints extends to other camera perspectives as well, every character movement and dialog will be always limted to what whatever is scripted withing the game instance. No matter if its Ethan Winters waving his hands or Dante from dmc seathing his sword on his back, u'll never be in full control, and whether u can jump around and stuff during cutscenes/dialogs completely depends on the game itself not in the camera perspective.
that is not a very good game, a good game has things to look foward to in terms of gameplay. RDR2 is pointless all the way trough once u finish it once, nothing you do in that game serves any kind of purpose or ends in anything meaningful or satisfactory, i hate it..... Even Fallout 4 i feel the impulse to replay every once in a while, but... RDR2 its a journey to... achive nothing...
Any kind of hype or interest for this series/genre is something completely incomprensible to me, i don't understand how EA hasn't been banned from the collective consciousness of gamers by now, you should feel ashamed of even feeling remote curiosity for this game.
