Well, they are right. Somebody gotta do it, right. Nah, I just can't sleep well the last couple of days, and IF I sleep, lots of bad dreams come and haunt me, so I prefer to stay awake... Not something that will keep working of course, but I don't really have anyone to analyse the dreams. Usually it's something from the past, which I'd rather not share with anyone, except for those I really thrust. But those are far and wide in between. :( Now, I'm off again. *reloads shotgun, takes a whole bunch extra ammo with him, walks away*

Arcade Fire - Neon Bible Nice to listen to, it got a lot of influences because of one of the member's wife, which is French. She pretty much made a big impression on the CD, since the first and last song evolve around her and another band member. The first song is called Black Mirror, but in the song itself Miroir Noir is sung next to Black Mirror. It pretty much shows the dark sides about each person, while a regular mirror just shows the way you try to present yourself to others, but unconsciously also to yourself. The last song expresses the love between the same French girl and one of the other band members. Strangely enough, the song is called My body is a cage, which shows to me that no matter how much love you want to give to the other, your stuck with it as long as the other doesn't want to do something about it. Also, the male is usually in control of the female, although the males usually thing otherwise. In this song, the male knows the truth and expresses it, he knows his body is his own end and limit, that only the female can unlock, therefore she is in control and can exploit this. It's THE way for the women to control the male, she has the key... All other songs have their own meaning, but I recommend you listen to the CD and try listening to it yourself at least once. All in all, nice CD.

Now that I'm a bit more awake :D I added some first images, actually it was a directory with funny pictures I had for a LONG time now, just adding some new pictures whenever I found them while venturing the forums and reading the news sites, apart from other portal sites and just hitting on them by accident. Some have been found here in the OT discussion thread, mainly because they make such threads a lot, so whenever I felt like it, I visited them. Most of the time, those pictures are all the same, but when you find a nice gem, it's always nice to store them for later on. I didn't know what to do with them until it hit me today: we have an images tab for a while in our profiles, so why not upload some of them here? Some of them were in Dutch, so I removed those, others were Flash animations, so I couldn't upload those either. Anyway, the ones that are left are going to be added sporadically, in batches of 10 images each time I feel like it or when I can find some time. I hope you enjoy the first ones.

Boy, because of dusting the attic and a friend coming over with some old NES and SNES games he got lying around, I seriously need to update the games collection. I think I left most of the good old games for the NES and SNES out of the collection, while some of those games had been collecting dust for a couple of years already. So now that I got almost all the titles around here, and testing some of them once more for old times sake, I discovered that those aren't in my collection at all... Oh well, I know what to do next, I've added a couple of them already, but I'll just play them a bit first and see if they are still working, then I'll add them. :) Now, excuse me while I go and play The Legend of Zelda for the NES again... :P

Can't wait for the ring of death. ;) No, seriously, I decided to spoil myself and get one. Now all I still need is a good low size TV so I can put it in a seperate room and watch some cable TV, along with the Xbox360 to play some games. First game will be Gears of War for sure. If anyone has any other recommendations, let me know. FPS is prefered, some multiplayer is fine as well, RPG also (especially Oblivion)

i've already looked a bit around and found some usefull hints, but I really want to make sure I write a good review and take my time for it whenever I get my hands on a game. I finished S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and found it usefull to write a review once I finished it, in order to have a good impression of the game. I don't want to write a 2 sentence review either. It has to be a solid one, the only problem is that I never done a review before, so I want to make sure it's a proper job. They don't have to give me a thumbs up because they like me or something like that, I just want to make sure the review is a solid one that is usefull to others. I don't know what the average attention span is, but it's already turning out to be a quite lengthy one, at least if you want to write about all the various elements in the game, like gameplay, sound, cinematics, etc. and all that without spoiling it for others...

I doubt it. Neither do I, since I'm not into that sort of stuff. Anyone with a bit of interest in new age surely must have seen what I found along my path. It's here to stay, it took me more then 8 years of searching and doubt to make the final decision, but I never regretted it ever since. Easter is a nice holiday period, and for kids it's nice to celebrate. For women, it's a good excuse to eat lots of chocolate, for men, it's usually a good way to empty their pockets for the chocolate eggs they need to buy for the kids and the misses. :D Oh well, enjoy it, get yourself a nice easter egg or cake, and enjoy the holiday.
