@banana23man When I worked doing IT support for neuroscience research I had plenty of experience working with "educated" people. Scientists are some of the most closed minded dogmatic people I have ever met and would give the religious zealots of the world a run for their money as to who are the most closed minded.

@Centurion95 I think there is more to religion then that. We live in a cruel unforgiving world. It is comforting to some to think that there is a higher purpose to all this. I have never been able to make that leap of faith but I do not begrudge those who can nor do I call there beliefs stupid or criticize them for wanting to believe in something that makes sense to them. Is not criticizing someones beliefs a form of prejudice?

Yeah Lee but you keep trying to make it out like the games industry is pulling the same crap the tobacco industry tried to pull. What you don't seem to comprehend is that M-rated games are not for children, they are not marketed to children, and the vast majority of retailers will not sell them to children. The vast majority of children get there games from their parents. If there is a problem here it is a failure on the part of parents to instill values to their children. You can't fix that problem with cheap band-aid legislation.

If gamers where as violent as he claims why is he still alive? The fact that this guy has not been murdered Mortal Kombat style is proof he is a lying SOB. This is America, I have every right to speak my mind. Hearing this guy tell people to just quiet down should be an insult to every person who belives in freedom of expression.
