So? There's backup players who have been in bands like Pink Floyd a lot longer than that. They aren't inducted with those bands.
Exactly, "backup players", not a main member. All the other bassists were inducted execept Ron so i don't see your problem. It was down to Metallica who was inducted so they obviously didn't see a problem. At the end of the day if they're main contributers and assets to the band then they have the right to been included, not to be just discarded.
If anything inducting Robert Trujillo with Metallica proved it's a joke.
