Gamespy is giving out 200 keys to those who they deem have good ideas for LBP levels. I've already sent a couple of mine. Give it a shot! They might even publish your idea on the site.

NetHack
Created in the late 80's, Nethack is a neat old dungeon crawler game with more depth than your average modern dungeon crawl, spiffy graphics and all. The levels are randomly generated. So I've never in all my years, ever, played the same game twice. Each character I've played has had a different adventure. Often times these adventures can be quite humorous. Especially at the expense of my character. There is such a wide variety of things that can befall them. :P
Your character is in search of the Amulet of Yendor. Though I have to admit, that I myself have never even come close to laying my eyes upon it. There is a nice selection of races and cl@$$e$ when starting the game. Though I find myself using the random character generator to speed things up these days. Of these cl@$$e$: Archaeoligist, Barbarian, Caveman/Cavewoman, Healer, Knight, Monk, Priest/Priestess, Ranger, Rogue, Samurai, Tourist, Valkyrie, and Wizard; my favorite goes to Valkyrie.
I had one today whom I'd named Nairobi Jones. She'd lost her pet dog on the first level. But despite this sad event, managed to reach the third level of the dungeon... When she made the fatal mistake of reading the scrolls she had found. Upon reading, the first one claimed to be a Scroll of Genocide. "Hmmm..." I thought to myself. "What should we kill off today?" I tried to think of something that would challenge us in the lower depths of the dungeon. So I typed the letters: L-I-C-H. Suddenly there were five Liches surrounding my weak little Valkyrie, Nairobi. "Cursed! Boy this is it!" I thought to myself, "She's a goner." Our only chance lay in the second scroll in our possession. Upon reading it the room exploded in flames... "Not bad," I thought. The Liches were all hit by rolling waves of flame. Unfortunately, so was the next scroll in Nairobi's possession. Along with it, our hope of salvation. As the Liches swarmed upon her. I shook my head, and sighed, "Another lost soul to NetHack!"
NetHack can be found at this site. Of course it is free! If you decide to play it, and enjoy it, I would love to hear some stories about what became of you! Also, NetHack's forum here at Gamespot is still active, and there are much more entertaining stories to read about than mine... :)
Attention! For those who don't know! Before God of War, those "cheesy" movies starring Arnold Schwartzenegger, or you were even born, the amazing stories of Conan captured the imaginations of many. I love God of War as much as anyone. But if one were to read the original Conan stories by Robert E. Howard, it would be apparent that Conan had an influence on God of War. So the new Conan game by THQ may not be great. However the original stories still are. Especially if you like God of War, please give these stories a try. I'm sure they will change your mind about Conan. Here are some of my favorites:
-The Tower of the Elephant
-The People of the Black Circle
-The Frost Giant's Daughter
-Rogues In the House
-Iron Shadows In the Moon
-Red Nails
-The Devil In Iron :D
These stories are all short and most of them can be found in this book...
If you look closely, even Stephen King says they are good!
...it would be "Resident Insomniac".
