Balatro is amazing... I bought it like 2 months ago. It's one of those games I just lose track of time. Very addictive. The others i'm not so sure about.
It's ridiculous how hard these are to find... my local Walmart had no Steve. The only thing they had was a marked down torn into package that was supposed to have Diamond armor Steve with Dennis. Instead it just had Dennis. Damn kids...
@illegal_peanut: We just have to balance out their use, as with anything. If you drink too much alcohol, you get sick. If you eat too much food, you get sick. It's the same with entertainment. You play/watch too much you are getting sick maybe not physically (at first) but mentally. Those that can balance entertainment with physical activity are fine. I still play video games but not like I used to. I do about 1-2 hours a night. Kids do not care about balance so they will just play for 8 hours straight and wonder why suddenly their eyes are blood shot and they are starving. As adults we tend to hit our breaking points much sooner. I also have kids and I won't let them have a phone until their much older. I do let them play games but I limit the time. I let them watch TV but also limited. This lets them be more creative as Momoa is talking about where they do arts and crafts, or go play outside. This shouldn't mean I exclude them from games entirely though -- I think that's a bit harsh.
I'm sure it's entertaining enough... what do you expect from a sandbox game made out of blocks? I'm sure this will have plenty of easter eggs for Minecraft fans and that is about all we could ask for at this point. I am taking my kids who are absolutely excited to see it.
The statue is the only thing I could possibly want in the Beach Collector's Edition and paying $230 is a big ask for that. Can't do it man. It's just a bunch of plastic anyway.
This game made me love the SNES in ways I didn't think were possible. I remember my brother gushing over it and i'd watch him play. Then I got my chance. So many great memories. Suffice to say, part of my name was conceived from Chrono Trigger and based on a really cool character, Cyrus.
