@Jag-T1000: then millions more would die with no Jedi to stop the ruthless Dark side from consuming the galaxy. They need Luke.

@streetmagik: it shouldn't irk you, it's just a game. It needs to be fun and balanced and duels need to last longer than that in order for people to enjoy it more. Obviously the Katana and Nodachi are not designed for that, but would you rather Samurai just not be in the game at all? At least the combat techniques they use are practical , realistic and grounded, it's definitely the more accurately depicted sword fighting in a game to date

@gothsalvation: bloodborne? Why lol? It's not a twitchy or fast paced game, 60fps won't change the game a whole lot. I'd prefer they make it as pretty as possible at 30. If it were a shooter or a racing game or a fighting game id agree with you, but a solid 30 for it would be fine

@leikeylosh: I've been here just as long and visit daily. They've been covering a lot of general news and media for a very long time, it hasn't been strictly games in a while.

Ive read that same "Moviespot " insult hundreds of times across posts that date back years. Seriously dude where have you been?

@Gencic: calling GameSpot Moviespot is about the most boring and generic comment ever. You do realize at least 5 people post the same thing every time they post about a movie.

GameSpot has been covering TV,film and general media for years now, at some point y'all really need to get over it. Or find a new website that does only gaming...which is hard because you get more traffic covering multiple things . You want to go to ign lol? They review girl meets world every time it comes out, talk about unrelated crap.

@kuchiki-ness: You cannot deny Bulletstorm took a lot of it's visual style from gears. It's the truth, they borrowed heavily from it, and it's not the same creators (People Can Fly). I personally think the art style and everything is great here in gears 4. Well have to wait and see about story,

@TheZeroPercent: gears has had color since 3. The all grey thing was cool in the first two but grows boring, everything looks the same. In the newer games (3 , judgement and 4) they use a mixture of dark tones and colors scattered throughout. It's much better IMO

@kuchiki-ness: the color palatte has been pretty varied since gears 3. 1 and 2 were critiqued for being so grey and it has been addressed for a while now. They use a wide variety of colors and tones from washed out to bright and vivid.

Gears of war came out a while before Bulletstorm, the art style was invented by them and copied by Bulletstorm lol art is in the eye of the beholder and while I don't consider gears to have amazing art, it's good and fits what they are doing.

This is a game that you play. It's important it plays well. Don't like the art? Don't buy the artbook.

@dorog1995: dude don't act like that's EAs fault. Games in general rarely have split screen nowadays , not just ea games. And wanting split screen on the PC is like praying for a miracle, it's a nice thought, but the odds of it happening are...none.
