@csward: Halo Wars 1 wasn't good either , people just liked it because it had good controls for a console RTS. At the end of the day there will never be a truly great console RTS, gotta go to PC for those.

@frosty988: Halo died? When? Halo 5 offers the best multiplayer in series history and is still one of the best shooters available for consoles.

@lithus: Dude you're misunderstanding, you're more than welcome to watch the video and have your own opinion. But you're not asking questions or looking for details, you are saying false information like they are facts. "there's no contingency for double and triple teaming. You can't defend against it at all." That's not true, and yet someone reading it may believe it is so.

@lithus: you should watch some videos before talking about what the game does and doesn't have. It has a system called Revenge that builds many times faster when you're outnumbered (the more outnumbed the faster it builds). When you build enough of it you go into a rage mode where you are stronger and take less damage, allowing you to try and fight back against the tilted odds. It's also important to work with your teammates so you aren't caught running around alone too often.

@externalpower43: On low with lowered resolution (720p, maybe lower) then yeah. But at this point, a 460 is a low/mid range card from 7 years ago lol. I seriously don't expect it to do much.

EDIT: It runs on the same engine as Assassin's Creed Syndicate, which runs at all low/720p with a terrible framerate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dk-F1jQ56xs

@jack00: I noticed it early on but let it go because in my eyes it does two things. 1: Establishes that your hero is a stronger more powerful warrior than the smaller "grunts". 2) Makes it far easier to tell where your main threats are coming from

While group blending stealthily would be fun, it just ruins the point of the dueling in this game. It's better for your enemies to be recognizable, at least imo.

@kagatoac: Its far from a standard fighting game, in terms of how it plays that is, but the story will likely be pretty meh. It's a multiplayer focused game, they designed the combat system and the whole premise around dueling others. There are many games with worthwhile stories but that is not the market For Honor targets. The Faction War event is literally absolutely in no way like the Dark Zone in any way at all. Basically you pick a faction to side with and when you win it pushes the territory on a map you can see outside of the game. It's just a metagame layer on top of the main game (which is vs multiplayer, 1v1, 2v2 and 4v4)

@johno357: What? I wasn't stating opinion, I was stating fact in how game devs think of it. I love split screen and use it with my GF and friends in EVERY game that allows it, I think its a fantastic feature. BUT I also at the same time understand why in the modern day it is often omitted.

@lithus: 1: I haven't noticed this issue or seen anyone from the tech tests complain about it. Both colors are quite bright and stand out.

2: I dont see this complaint either, IMO the characters have a good sense of weight and impact. They're well animated and strikes make appropriate effects and sounds.

3: if you're executed (limbs cut off, hesd cut off, impaled) you cannot be revived. If someone finishes you off with a regular strike you can still be picked up. It's a part of the gameplay and it works.

4: there's lots of customization , loot, armor, colors , etc. Look up for Honor customization there are many videos! You can even choose each part of your weapon (hilt , blade , guard) and what materials your armor is made of. Each piece gives small bonuses to combat based stats.
