Saw Superman Returns.

It was a really great movie and I hope they make a sequel. Now I think all I want to see this summer is Nacho Libre(was told I would like a lot) and A Scanner Darkly(very intriguing and I really like movies that make me think, so this is a safe bet).

Sorry. I haven't blogged in a while. Here's an update.

Been playing Guitar Hero a lot and can play a few Expert songs now.

Saw X-Men: The Last Stand. It was good but short; easily could have been longer.

Excited about the PS3 but I hope that they can back-up all their talk about it and include Touch Sense immersion technology in their controller.

I also bought and beat Kingdom Hearts II, though I thought it didn't have that new, original feeling that Kingdom Hearts did. It felt like the Disney worlds were just thrown in, with almost nothing to do with the main story.

I rented Ape Escape 3 (fun, thought the first one is my favorite still), King Kong (repetitive, good movie game, boring), and Ultimate Spider-Man (very short but entertaining).

The new feature to upload videos is awesome with masoumi being my favorite. I you haven't checked out his videos, here's the link. Though I'm sure everyone has seen his videos. http://www.gamespot.com/pages/profile/index.php?user=masoumi

Got new games! (Awesome warning)

My little brother bought SSX On Tour. I bought Mega Man X Collection, which is awesome that it has all the X games, SWEET. And finally, for my birthday I got Guitar Hero which is one of the best and most innovative games I ever played in my life. I highly recommend getting GH if you haven't already.

It's My Birthday.

Today, Jan.6, I'm 17. I also went to Olive Garden tonight. I'm trying to get Guitar Hero and DBZ: BT for gifts.

Merry Christmas (and gifts).

I hope everyone had a great time today. Also, I got Shadow of the Colossus(haven't played it yet), The Matrix: Path of Neo (really fun), clothes, a book by David Limbaugh, and money for Christmas.

Saw King Kong last night.

It was a great movie, just make sure you have a good audience (because I didn't). However, this movie definetly makes my Top 3 movies of all time. Kong behaves so realistically in the movie, that he could be real. This was one of the best movies I've ever seen filled with comic relief, moving story, and hard-lessons. So, go see King Kong if you haven't already.

School was delayed today.

Basically, it got really cold all of the sudden and school opened late due to icy roads. It's supposed to get worse with the snow storms coming in from Seattle. We usually start at 8:45am but today it started at 10:45am.

Beat ICO.

I have to admit that was one of the my best experiences after playing videogame because the subtle but strong love connection between Ico and Yorda and especially how the end finishes off the game perfectly.

What Madden '07 should be...

I would get this for the PS3 eventually or maybe '08 depending on price of the PS3. Forget about that. Well, anyways I think Madden should stop thinking about minor upgrades and just better graphics. Seems pointless right? EA Tiburon should really focus on the atmosphere in '07, no "whatever" view or stick, just the atmosphere, for the most part. Think about it: involved crowds cheering, yelling at the coaches, etc. I want the coaches to have a personality as well as the players. I want "real refs," you know they're not perfect and they can sometimes call dumb calls and change the outcome of a game. There should be visible effects of weather like mud, rain, snow, you know getting slippery, harder to tackle, fingers frozen, etc. This is the future of football in videogames. I can admit that strict simulation can be boring but if it can make you believe you are playing an realistic football game with consequences then it won't be boring. I know this sounds like a lot, but in time EA should work to accomplish this and more in the future for the next-generation of football in videogames because next-gen isn't just improved graphics.
