New Xbox 360 Update Coming

With the new update being only a week away, I can't help but be a little anxious. I don't exactly know what to expect from it. Don't get me wrong, I like our current one but this new one looks quite interesting and has a lot of great features.

The feature I'm most excited about is the feature to watch movies with friends. Usually I just go into a private chat while watching a movie while a friend watches another movie. Now with the update we will be able to watch the same one at the same time.

Avatars however, are making me nervous. Now with Microsoft introducing this feature to try to compete with the Mii's, I can't help but fear that they are going to over do it and put too much into the Avatars taking away from other features. We'll see though.

There are a ton of new features coming out and yet, I'm not so sure they're going to be great. We will see in less than a weeks time. I am curious as to how you all feel. What are your thoughts?

Consider this a small goodbye

I'll be leaving Gamespot for a while due to personal reasons. I might be back but at the same time I'm unsure. I'll still be on Xbox Live, and my other home which is Gaia Online. I hope to see some of you there. Name on there is Jigsaw665.

As I said the reason for leaving is personal so there will be no details what so ever. Sorry for this being so sudden but it has come up quite quickly. Hope to see some of you on Gaia :)

A variety of things...

In this blog I am going to be talking about a variety of things. Things that I have found funny in the gaming world and things that I've purchased/ been doing in the gaming world.

First off the funny part. I'm sure I don't need to tell you guys that Infinite Undiscovery just came out on the 2nd. Well, aside from that there was also one other game that came out. Viva Pinata 3 a.k.a. Viva Pinata Trouble In Paradise. Now, I was in fact going to be getting both of these games and most likely still will. But in the reverse order in which I thought I was going to in the first place. Why you might ask? Well this is the funny part. The game I was going to get first was Undiscovery because I love RPG's. Then Viva Pinata because I actually started to like the first one. Would you believe however that Viva Pinata 3 scored higher on Gamespot than Undiscovery? Shocked the hell out of me. Inifinite Undiscovery scored a 6.5 by Gamespot. Viva Pinata Trouble In Paradise was awarded a 8.5, a total of 2 points higher and a big difference if you ask me. Everyone was telling me that Undiscovery was going to be a 9 or higher. I was really hyped for it because I am a huge RPG fan. So when the game finally comes out what do I see? 6.5 :P A Gamespot score doesn't really hinder my judgement on games, but in this case I most likely will be getting Viva Pinata 3 first due to the higher rating.

Now for my purchase this past weekend. As I was saying I love RPG's. I've had a certain one on my list of games to get for some time now but I never got around to it because of games like Paradise or GTA IV. Saturday however...-or friday- I bought Lost Odyssey, which was the game that I've been quite excited about. Once I got it and started playing it I could not stop. Mind you I'm still on disc one but that's only because I've been leveling up, finding hidden treasures and the fact that I got stuck on a boss fight :P I'm nearing the end of the first disc I believe but that is quite alright. The second one will be just as long and then there are two more afterwards :) By the end of night one which was about four hours of play my eyes were like the following emoticon. This might give you a minor hint as to how addicted I am:  that combined with :o might be a better example.

That's pretty much it you guys. I've been having a lot of fun and still am. Only problem is my controller for the 360 is acting up ever since we had a power surge and my console cut off on me. I can't get it to re-connect now which means no LO and no ending to the first disc :( I'll have to purchase a new one I suppose.

Last bit of this blog will be asking you guys to join the Emblems Union :) I know that each and every one of you have a emblem in your profile and most of you would probably like to find out how to get more. Why not join the union made especially for that purpose? Come join us and see what wonders await past those two twelve foot pearly white, gold handle, chrome fixing doors. You will no doubt enjoy :)

Little bit late...little bit

So I got back quite a while ago but have not felt the urge to post this blog. As I sit here typing I still don't but it was a promise so, too-di-dah. My word.

My birthday was very fun and I had a lot of fun on my vacation. Not much has changed really. Biggest thing being there were too few bikini's :x :| Ahem...aside from that it was all good. Fun with the family and fun opening my presents.

Gifts? Yes I will tell you instead of making you find them this time :P The biggest being a God of War edition PSP :D Very nice and I love it :) next being a case that holds my PSP, some ipod things, and I was very pleased to get the first CD made by Disturbed (favorite band). Since then I've bought myself a copy of Burnout Paradise and GTAIV.

GTAIV...meh. I actually could care less for the game but I'll play it now and then. Not worthy of a 10 if you ask me but whatever. Burnout however has drawn me into a tornado of fun that I can't nor do I want to get out of :P Having fun with the game. Over 70 hours of gametime put in it and I've only had it since last friday. I've met some really nice people on there. Played with them every night since last friday. Quite addicting :P

All in all I've had a good birthday. Very pleased with what I got :)

(sorry for the half-arse blog, I'm very tired at 5:00am :| )

Leaving tomorrow/Birthday *UPDATE*

So tomorrow I will be leajving for the beach. I'll be gone for about four days I think. I'll be back on Wendsday. We take this little trip every year to the same spot in southern Georgia. Tybee Island...just F.Y.I. With me growing older I don't know how much more I'll be able to do these trips with my family. I wish it wouldn't ever end, but I don't know how things will turn out. These times are very valuable to me. It wasn't untill I realized how old I actually was untill I started thinking about all of this. Cherish your times with your family people, no telling what could happen.

I started realizing all of that when I remembered that Tuesday was my 17th birthday. I know I know, I'm still younger than half of you reading this probably :P Still, just thinking that next year I will turn 18 made me wonder how exactly these next twelve months will play out. Don't know what could happen but I think I'm ready for it. God forbid something tragic happen but...I have that sort of luck :P

So what do I want for mah birfday? You'll see when I get back...pretty sure I'm getting what I want :P

Peace you guys, have a good weekend and take some time to think about where your life is heading :)

*UPDATE* Today I bought myself an early birthday gift. One that I've been dieing for. I'll be playing it on my dads PSP ;) Oh...perhaps I should tell you what it is :| Well...telling is no fun. So I'll make you work for it :P The link to the game I bought is hidden in this blog somewhere :) Find it and you shall see the game that I have wanted so very dearly :D

Day Two Recap

Day two marked the Nintendo show and the Sony show. I was impressed with some things I saw...but really...what was Nintendo thinking? I started watching the Nintendo show right as it started. I was shocked to see some strange woman first instead of Reggie. I was just as shocked when I saw the red haired annoying as heck snowboarder that's name should not have to be mentioned.

Today Nintendo didn't impress me that much sadly. I was looking forward to some new DS releases but sadly all I really got was GTA for the DS...yeah...whatever. I could honestly care less about it. They are probably going to begin to milk GTA like they have been with Guitar Hero. I guess I won't know how good it is untill someone provides more information on the game...don't really want any to be honest.

Sony however did dress to impress and coming from me that should be a compliment. The presentation was far more enjoyable than Microsofts or Nintendos. The games were pretty good but not great. The best one of course being God of War III. The console updates however did impress me. They have added a lot of new things to their already large variety of options and all of it is looking good. Just waiting on Home now :| Yeah...I look forward to seeing news on Home for the next five E3's :|

All in all today wasn't great like yesterday. I hope what we get to see tomorrow is very good :)

Have a good night.

Day One Review-Microsoft

So as we all know E3 started today. Started very well too I might add. Microsoft did not fail me this year after all. I thought they might because of last year being so big for them. I have no problem saying that this year might be as good. They have proved to me that this year will be pretty good after all. The following games are the ones I would like to play and can not wait for :)

Fable 2

Rock Band 2

The Last Remnant

Fallout 3

Resident Evil 5 (still thinking)

Now, those are in fact all great games. Though they are no where near my most anticipated game. I believe everyone that reads my blogs or knows even the slightest bit about me knows that Square-Enix is my favorite game company. I've always loved their projects and today they did upset me at all. Ladies and Gentlemen my most anticipated game of E3 is none other...than Final Fantasy XIII. It has been brought to the Xbox 360 and will in fact be a great game. That is all I will say. If you want to know more...read the details or go back later and watch the Microsoft show and be amazed at this revolution in the Final Fantasy series.

So Microsoft did make a pretty good show today. Though there was one small snag. Why the Avatars? Now don't get me wrong, I do like the idea in a way, it's just the fact that they are pretty much taking the Mii idea and making something that lacks very little differences than Nintendo's great idea. The avatar idea will in fact be a big step for Microsoft and all the features and games that will revolve around them will surely put the Xbox Live charts off the chart itself. So who knows? This idea might be good, and then again it might be bad. We'll have to see when it comes to us sometime this fall.

Tomorrow starts a new E3 day. I look forward to it just as much as I did today's show. Microsoft has provided a great show and Nintendo will provide a great show too hopefully...now...what was that other company that is supposed to be showing tomorrow? Hmm...starts with an "S" I believe...ah must just be my imagination. They must not be that important if I can't remember ;)

Have a good night everyone.

Where should I begin?

I have no clue as to where to start this blog. I'm going to cover a lot so hang tight.

I suppose I can start the blog off with some recent gaming information. What have I done? Well, today I downloaded Yaris, and have had little fun with it, but I suppose it's achievements that I've not gotten yet. It's not that great of a game. It reminds me of a 3D version of some hand-held game you would get at Burger King or something. Like I said though...points. I've also been playing Halo 3 of course. Having tons of fun as always. Pwning people and being pwned at the same time :P I've recently started playing with phantom4567 since he just got Xbox Live. He's pretty damn good to have only played the game a few times. Good job dude.

Now, next comes the music part. First off I will say that Disturbed, Shinedown and Motley Crue alike have great new albums out and I suggest you check them out now. Best of all being Disturbed though. My favorite band. Great songs that should be a favorite to any Disturbed fan and metal fans alike. They've impressed me with this one. Now, on the note of Disturbed. It is nearly a fact that I will be going to see them live in August at the Mayhem Festival in Atlanta. They are co-headlining with Slipknot. Sure to be a great show. Five Finger Death Punch and Mastodon are two of the other bands that will be there. I like them both. Wish me luck with avoiding those mosh pits and crowd surfers.

As of today we are two weeks away from E3. What can we expect? Don't know. Microsoft better impress though. I think Nintendo is going to have something big for us. I just have that feeling. I hope to see more on GH4 and RB2. GH4 just looks amazing. Phantom4567 and myself have already wet ourselves over SOAD and LP being on the game. What else can I expect? I'm sure to find out soon. Can't wait to watch the shows.

That's pretty much it for now. No more of your time should be wasted here. Just leave a comment and be on your way :| ...you still here? Why aren't you commenting? Put those words in the box under the comment section :| Stop reading and post. I command you. Stop reading now! Kittens :| Yes if you have read down that far then you should have already posted. Do it now. Stop reading.
I'm done :P
Nearly a month since that day...

What day you might ask? The day that I made my last blog. There has been no requests for a new blog so I held off untill now. Even now I have no real point to the blog, but I figured that I would let you guys have some sort of entertainment in your boring and terrible day :)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to E3. I hope to hear some news on some sort of Kingdom Hearts game. I'm nearly 100% sure KH3 won't be mentioned, but who knows...maybe Square Enix will do me a kindness and let me see a little something. Other things at E3 I am looking forward to seeing...hmm...Halo Wars and Prototype for starters. I don't know how either one of those will look for me though. Prototype stands a stronger chance. Fallout 3 also looks halfway decent.

Other than that there are no real big updates from me. I might be doing some music reviews again soon. I think some of you liked them when I used to do them last year. So who knows...you might get to see them again soon.

If you guys would like me to do a question blog then feel free to drop me some questions and I'll answer them next blog.

Later guys
