Winter months that is :P Yay only 4 more weeks til spring :D I hate the cold so much and I needed a new blog so...

Although the weather has been quite nice here the last week but still, will be very glad to see the back of winter lol.

Devour still hasn't arrived :( I'll have Dark Angel b4 Devour gets here and I haven't even ordered DA yet lol (I can't find the DVD here to buy so I have to order it online like almost everything else, I don't like this town)I'm beginning to really hate amazon but I wanted a book from there as well and Devour was fairly cheap from amazon.

My week of being a substitue mum ends tonight :P lol, someone asked me if it's turned me off having children...Let me get back to you on that one :P It's been good, crazy busy esp the last couple of days but for me right now. busy is good :) I have a feeling that tomorrow after work, I won't know what to do with myself coz I won't be picking up kids from school and all that. It'll be good to be able to go online on my laptop where I can save pics and will have access to icons and stuff I've made so I can upload them. Anyway it was only a week, a long week but still. I bet you any money I end up sleeping in tomorrow and running late for work lol, I don't do mornings so it'll be great not having to get up so 'early' :P Ah it's all good :)

I'm starting to get some ideas for icons and banners, not many but I'm working on it. The darn things are addictive right now, gotta make icons, banners, whatever lol. Hopefully I'll get better at making them and maybe I'll get more creative. With fan videos, I hear a song and the idea for a vid just comes to me so I'm hoping something like that will happen with icons e.t.c.

My nephew won a competition and today at the school assembly he is getting his prize for it so I'm going to that. I have so much to do b4 that, so what am I doing on the computer right? :P

At least it's hump day ;) So I'm thinking it needs to be called something else :P I can almost see Friday lol.

One of the people involved in the accident mentioned in yesterdays blog was my best friend :o:( She is alright, well she has whiplash and some major bruising so she is very sore and shaken up by the whole thing, as am I - shaken up by the fact my friend was in an accident and if I was looking out the window 2 secs earlier, I would've seen it happen. Thankfully her 2yr old son wasn't in the car at the time. This was the friend who 8yrs earlier watched me and my parents be involved in an accident.

Some guy was driving along the road outside my work, he got to the intersection where my friend was driving along the road going past him, he didn't give way, he didn't see her in his V8 car. He hit my friend on the side sending her across to the other side of the road into a parked 4WD. Apparently if the 4WD hadn't have been there, my friends car would've hit the curb and flipped onto the footpath so I'm kind of glad the 4WD was there coz it could've been worse.

She hit her chest on the steering wheel (pretty hard coz she had trouble breathing) I think she said and her knee was caught between the door and something else - the dash maybe, my head is still kind of spinning over all this. I can't believe it, one of the times I looked out the window yesterday I did see her mums car across the road from my work and at first was quite worried that my friend was involved in the accident. There are other businesses and a doctors surgery and stuff in that street so I calmed myself by thinking maybe her mum was there for some other reason. I kept checking coz I couldn's leave work, well maybe I could've I don't know. Anyway, one time I checked her mum's car was gone and I saw one car being towed away and checked to see if it was my friends car but it wasn't. I didn't see her car get towed away. The fire truck cleaning up the road was cleaning up break fluid or something from my friends car. There was still a fair bit of debris on the road after work yesterday. The guy in the other car did try to help her out of the car.

I'm looking after my neice and nephew for the next week so today was pretty chaotic and I didn't get around to see her (Spent an hour or so on the phone with her lol) but I'm going to visit her tomorrow after work and see how she is. I passed another accident today on the way home after picking up the kids from school (I'm pretty sure I didn't know anyone from this one) What is going on around here?!

This has been an interesting week, hopefully the next half of the week will go by uneventfully coz I need to catch up a bit lol. I have to get up really early (really early for me :P ) to get my neice and nephew ready to catch the bus and then I have a staff meeting to go first thing, oh joy :P At least in the afternoon I can relax and spend time with my neice and nephew - no rushing around getting kids to after school activities and hopefully no more stressful news like I got today. I know my friend is alright but it'll be good to actually see with my own eyes that she is alright and spend some time with her.

In other news, my level percentage that did nothing for ages is now moving upwards in leaps and bounds lol. There was something else I was going to write but I've lost my train of thought due to my sister's parrot climbing all over me and the keyboard lol. I have a photo of said parrot and my mum's kitten that is kind of amusing, I'll post it sometime this week.

I hope everyone had or is having a better day than I had lol and everyone is well out there in cyberspace :P

So I'm at work and the window is open and suddenly I hear this big 'crunch' sound and I know what it is. I looked out the window to see a car being pushed back a little from the force of running into the back of another car. This happened just down the road from the local police station so the police were there very quickly, I saw one of the officers walking to the accident. Anyway a little while later I heard a siren but it was the fire brigade rescue truck. I could only see a little of the end of one of the cars, another building was in the way so I didn't know how bad it was. The speed limit on that road is only 50km/hr although hardly anyone does the speed limit even though it goes past the police station. Anyway after seeing the rescue truck I'm thinking OMG it must be pretty bad but the rescue truck wasn't there for the ppl involved in the accident, they were cleaning up oil or something on the road. So hopefully the injuries if any were only minor, I didn't find out and I had to you know...work :P I did see the tow truck tow the car that ran up the back of the other car and it didn't look as bad as I thought it would.

Car accidents are awful things to happen and be involved in. I've been a passenger in the back seat of a car when someone who was in a hurry to get home ran up the back of the car I was in - not a fun experience. We were going fishing with some friends and we were slowing down to turn off the road and the other car overtook 4 other cars that were doing the speed limit of 100km/hr (hate to think how fast he was going) b4 hitting us. Close family friends (the ones going fishing with us) were a couple of cars behind us and they saw what was about to happen but didn't have time to do anything like warn us or whatever so they had to just watch the accident unfold b4 them - that must've been horrible. My friend was going to come with us in our car, glad she didn't even though she probably would've been fine but who wants to be in an accident. No real injuries other than dad's head hitting the steering wheel, breaking the lenses of his glasses and some of the glass cutting just above his nose. Mind you he said as his head came back up from the steering wheel, he saw us heading for a group of parked cars! The ordeal not over yet he then had to steer away from the parked cars (thankful for power steering) then we were heading for a ditch but mum pulled the handbrake (the pedal brake wasn't working and it all happened so fast) phew! Mum and I got whiplash but other than that we were fine. The man in the other car was in such a hurry to get home, that's all he seemed worried about at the time, not his two daughters that were with him. One of his daughters came over to us to see if we were alright, poor thing, that must've been so frightening for her (the accident) His car was stuffed, they ended up having to catch the train home anyway.

It's mostly a blur for me and it was about 8yrs ago but the accident at work brought it all back :|

So the CD arrived today (The Steve Carlson Band - Rollin On) A day earlier than I thought it would.

- Jensen sings backing vocals this time in 3 songs! My dream was close, only 1 off :P:D 3 out of 4 ain't bad.

I'm still sort of sorting thru the songs to find favourites and the like, the problem with this CD and Jensen singing is there are other backing singers singing with him (in one song there are 4!) So that makes it a little hard to hear him at times. When he sang harmony vocals there was only Steve and him and one line was soley sung by Jensen and as you can imagine I love that line :P:D

He also sings backing vocals on a song I don't really like but it's one song you can hear Jensen the best so...I'll learn to like it :P

One of the songs - "Rocking Chair" which there is only one other backing singer alongside Jensen is written by Steve Carlson and Jason Manns who is also Jensen's good friend and Jensen has sung with Jason at the Asylum convention and at a wedding singing "Crazy Love" (at the wedding - the vid is on youtube, Jensen's voice is heavenly you should hear it if you haven't already) So I'm probably going to end up really liking that song :P maybe lol.

My fave CD is Steve's latest which unfortunately has no Jensen on it :( but it's a great CD and I'm kind of addicted to it ATM but that will only last until I hear another song(s) that I love. Or when I get tired of listening to the same songs over and over :P

Yeah so I'm a little Jensen obsessed right now but music is everything to me and he sings and I have songs with him singing them! :D

Still waiting on Devour to arrive :| Amazon annoys me, I used to get DVDs within a week from Amazon, now it's 2-3 weeks minimum! I don't care if the movie is bad, I wanna see Jensen and I wanna see him acting alongside his dad. Come on Amazon and all postal services involved! Not that I'll have much time to watch it over the next week but I want it here :P

Even better would be if "Ten Inch Hero" would hurry up and get released on the big screen - Jensen on the big screen :D I wish I could hire out a cinema and have an NCIS and Supernatural marathon lol.

I always wanted to do that when the Aussie medical drama All Saints was my all time fave show. Like MS read-a-thon, you could raise money for something having a group of ppl get sponsered so much for how many eps they could watch. Although that would be too easy coz there is only 2 seasons of SN and although there are 4 of NCIS, when your fandom reaches the level of obsession it's easy to watch all the eps :P But you could also have trivia and games and stuff related to whatever show you were watching. A bit like fan fests and fan conventions I guess.

Ok now I'm rambling, that happens when I'm tired, bored and cold :P Stupid winter, enough already!

Jensen, literally :P ok not him in person but his singing voice :) I had a dream the other night that I got the Steve Carlson CD - "The Steve Carlson Band" lol (which should arrive here on Wed) anyway Jensen sings harmony vocals on this CD so I've read and in my dream he sang harmony on 4 songs which is a huge improvement on the other CD - "Spot In The Corner" where he only sings on one song, it's still a good CD though.

I'm guessing he only sings on one song on this CD too? I haven't looked it up, I'll wait to be disappointed :P

Yes I'm bored, otherwise this blog would not exist - I can't believe I'm posting a blog about my dream :P

I'd write about my NCIS dreams but I can't really remember them (you know you're obsessed with a TV show when you start dreaming about it lol) Where's my Supernatural dreams?! lol.

TGIF and it's the 13th, I love when the 13th falls on a Friday :D I'm weird, you get used to it, at least I think ppl get used to my weirdness :P

I usually have a great day on Friday the 13th and today was pretty good :)

- Paraskevidekatriaphobia: fear of Friday the 13th (try pronouncing it lol)

- A local motel must have superstitious owners or something coz there is no room 13, it goes 12, 12A, 14 which looks silly in my opinion but then I like odd numbers and I'm not superstitious over the number 13.

- Every year will have at least one Friday the 13th fall in one of the months, with a maximum of 3 times (months) that it will occur in a year.

- The next Friday the 13th will be in June 2008

- If Friday is supposed to be so terrible, it makes you wonder about the phrase TGIF?!

- On Friday, September 13, 1857 Milton Hershey was born. And, thus gave us hershey chocolate, so that's a great thing :P:D

- I can't remember the year but I do remember one year having 3 Fridays fall on the 13th, I thought it rather amusing at the time.

I was dissappointed at the lack of horror movies on tonight - come on, this is the day there is supposed to be lots of horror movies on TV lol. I do have Devour on it's way to me, I only bought it coz Jensen Ackles is in it but I could've watched that if I had it.

I want Supernatural to do an ep on something to do with Friday the 13th lol.

First up...Not again, good ole TV.com I'm on level 1 at 0% - thanks :P

Ok so I listened to the audio commentaries on the S1 DVD of Supernatural and the S3 DVD of NCIS tonight and they were all so funny, I've been laughing all night :lol:

I would love to work on both shows lol :P but after tonight esp Supernatural, Eric Kripke, David Nutter and Peter Johnson are so funny. Their commentary on the SPN pilot was hilarious :D As was the commentary by Jensen and Jared of course :D I knew those guys would be funny, I just didn't know how funny, I've gotta listen to them all again :)

On the NCIS I only listened to the commentaries done by Michael Weatherly and Pauley Perrette and oh my they were hilarious as well and...GET TOGETHER ALREADY!! :P:D You should hear how they talk to and about each other, I know PP has a boyfriend whose name is also Michael (I don't believe in coincedences :P ) MW is so in love with PP :P You should hear him, they are so cute together and funnily enough they always do commentaries together hmm lol. Not much was said about the acutal eps lol but...If you haven't heard the commentaries which by the way were on "Frame Up" and "Bloodbath" (I mean come on!) Anyway, find a way to hear them and how they talk about each other, [spoiler] I'm going to try and get the audio file on the net for those who don't have the audio commentaries but shh I'm sure it's a no no so don't tell anyone what I'm planning on doing :P [/spoiler] The spoiler isn't really a spoiler so feel free to click on it if you want :)

Ok I think that's all for now, I thought of an idea for a banner for my tv.com profile page thing a little while ago, can't wait to have it made and posted for me to stare at :P lol.

I've made a Supernatural vid - it's about the ep "What is and what should never be" So spoilers for that ep. It's to the song "Happy Ending" by Mika, after hearing the song a few times I thought of a way it could fit this particular ep. Windows movie maker didn't like the song and I had a lot of problems with it so I'm not sure how the quality of the clips held up.
