@xb0ner TBH I got bored of this game by watching jeff from GB playing it for 5 minutes. IMHO if every video of the gameplay is about killing wawes of enemies while defending your robot who is scanning meaningless stuff, thats just not enough to keep anyone playing for more than a day or two. in 2014 graphics are not enough. hopefully the deelopers will provide more in the future for this game, because thats just not going to cut it.
TBH I visited the metacritic site, and there was a lot of complain about the game crashing and not starting at all, and in some instances the FPS is so low, that the game is unplayable. So if the same happened to this guy in the review, I kind of understand the rating, but theres no trace of this anywhere in the review, meaning that the overal game experience gave it a 3/10, not technical difficulties. Which is of course not a really understandable point after the xbox one review.
@Forcecaster Well, the bigger question is : How did a review like this pass the QA of the site. I mean, OK the reviewer had a different taste for games, he has every right to do so. BUT! How can someone read his review and think its a good idea, to put it on the same site, that gave 4 points better review on the same game , for a version that has less content than the later version. Thats the serious questin! ( also, in my personal perspective, the review was written in a way that is absolutely different from what people got used to on GS, and IMO its on the rather negative side, but thats just a personal opinion)
@Beany19 My first thought while reading the first 2 paragraph was, how do you keep a metaphoric phrasing up in a small review for two whole paragraph, while saying nothing factual about the game the entire time. My second thought was, -Is a person who puts the Harry Potter franchise up into such a high pedestal the right person to review a game that includes wacky horror elements and gore with grindigng? If youre a walking Harry Potter codex , how did that personality gets to review a game like Dead rising? But as I already stated, its the way he expresses himself whats wrong with the review , not his overal verdict of the game. Yeah, well the 3 point is also kind of weird, but its critic from a personal perspective, so what can you do???
@bigrod69 Im really hoping for a review from a different perspective, like they did it with dark souls 2. I find it very interesting, that the same game received more than double the score on an other platform, when there was absolutely no difference stated between the two version except that this version hase more content.. So this review stinks a bit, and the way the reviewer writes is very far from the writing standards that I am used to on this site, so I'm sure there will be different reviews.
this is a very badly written review, not the way he sees the game is whats wrong with it, but rather how he expresses it. You are writing a review not a novel with the intention of shooting sarcastic and waggish bullets on the game. where in the hell is Kevin when you need him??!!
