well, after playing my Gears of War, i am in love with the game again! :D
Very reminiscent of Resident Evil, but of course, the baddies are a bit on the extremely bad side: atmosphere really helps in a game.
So, I replayed a little bit of my PS2 with some RPGs and i had to get used to it again after a couple minutes. Interesting how our brains play non-stop for hours and our motor skills just go at it with the all the optional buttons to press. Then, switching to another controller on a completely different platform, my brain has to adjust for about a couple seconds. I was, saying, oh come on! I've been playing on my PS2 for so long, and then when i play my 360 for hours, I go and switch consoles the next day and start grumbling over the way my character is going the opposite direction. hahaha.
I suppose it's like language, or learning a new foreign tongue: if you don't use it for awhile, your brain has to switch immediately to find the path of remembering. (who has taken a foreign language long ago; maybe once or twice and never used it; while later, a few years or more, you're finding the words to formulate a sentence.) Gotta love those brain cells! (must not destroy them further by drinking too much at parties. haha)
I suppose some people will say, 'oh no, i never have that problem! i can switch consoles all day long and have no problem' well erm, i'm talking about if one doesn't touch their 'other' console for a long time, not immediately thereafter. But, i'm sure, even after long successive hours of game-playing can make a person stumble a bit, until they're used to the controllers again.
