I remember a while ago the company making def jam (if i recall correctly) were making a fighting game like that one (there was some gameplay footage), but eventually we never heard of it again.
Seems like they archived the project and gave it to NetherRealm studios. Seeing as how the last Mortal Kombat was amazing, I can't wait to see more of this title.
@Sergeant_ they said the number of those who contacted them is very small. I know a couple people who didn't contact blizzard.
BTW, servers are stable since launch for everywhere except america and those were fine the day after.
Hacks are still a mystery lol. What if it's the people not taking all the security measures or other places getting hacked or whatever. It could be Blizzard's servers, but like sony, nintendo, etc they would straight say it.
Of course there's other small issues/bugs like any other game.
It just sucks, but you know servers/games are far from perfect. They even had a beta so these things only happened because of the amount of people playing probably.
@Predwarrior but in my opinion, there's just as many reasons for the game to require online. It's easier to make the game hack and mods free and keep everyone at the same level compared to D2 for exemple. It all comes down to opinion so whatever.
Also, who should complain about being online all the time? People without internet really. Why do people who have internet b*tch about being connected? I don't really get that. It sucks for those without it who want to play, but that's it.
@Elrax After a couple hours, it was fine for me. Then, other smaller problems appeared, but the game was still playable. I finished the game on the second day. People were just butt hurt because they wanted to play at the moment the servers were open. Some people lack patience.
The online community is just a bunch of whinners these days. It's just sad at some point.
After the first day, everything was fine on D3 "OMG millions of people are logging in at the same time, why isn't this working?". People say the servers should cope all that stress without any flaws? that's just impossible. It doesn't work like that, if they could they would. People talk without knowing how games/servers are done.
It's also very plausible that people get hacked without Blizzard's databases getting hacked (especially since that information is probably encrypted as hell like Steam when they got hacked). Other places get hacked, you opened the wrong e-mail, etc and you used the same password and bam people access your stuff and it wasn't Blizzard's fault. That's the internet in general.
I believe the people who are pissed are just mad because they like to hack games/have a distinctive unfair advantage over others, play for free and basically do what they want without consequence and they can't with this game... or they just want to hate what's cool like all the COD haters. Hell, most haters here claim they don't and won't even play the game.
Diablo 3 is not a perfect game and Blizzard is not the perfect company, but people just whine and complain before using their judgement sometimes.
